I hope they got the sound right on Michael Carter-Williams' bricked jumpers. I know they have plenty of tape to go on.

Re: Plenty of NBA 2K17 Details Have Arrived with More to Come Soon (@drevoigt)
I think everyone is misreading the commentary team thing and also forgetting the leaked footage that confirmed it initially.
The main commentary duo is Harlan and Greg Anthony, we know that for a fact. The surprise came when we saw two videos showing Brent Barry and the other Doris Burke as the third commentator. So we know of four, that means there would still be 7 commentators we don't know of. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say MAYBE Kellog is still in since he has years of lines in the game. That would still leave 6 unknowns.
We know Rick Fox and Sekou Smith were both at 2k, but they were in mocap suits and I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't have done that if they just did commentary (unless 2k made 3d models for them like David Aldridge, but that's highly unlikely). David Aldridge also is known to be in as a sideline reporter, but the question is if he's counted in that 11. Even if he was, that would still leave 3 unknowns after counting Aldridge/Sekou/Fox with Harlan, Anthony, Burke, Barry.

This would be like a complete 180 and enhance the game to the extreme. If Live 16 did anything for the world of sports games, maybe it motivated 2K to enhance their court atmosphere.

Yeah I get that, I'm just finding it hard to believe they dug THAT deep.. Do you realize just how bad the crowd was this last year?

I watch a lot of basketball and the difference in arena sounds are quite noticeable. I would imagine people playing the game a lot will notice it. It's subtle when viewing on television and I'd imagine most people can only slightly recognize the differences or not at all; since they don't watch that often.
I would like to see them expand the players yells/sounds on the court. I don't play with the default, with the announcers and all that...I go with the on court sounds.

Hopefully they have Ros Gold in. She's the Warriors sideline girl and did it for the Olympics too.

Each year the PC version is shorted on purpose and now with the lack of modding, makes the PC version even more in-attractive as a choice of purchasing.Comment

No they left out Arena Music, Shoes, Presentation Elements, Animations, etc from the last few PC versions. Face Scans etc.

This is simply music to my ears.
As an Association guy, the pick protection/swaps are huge. THANK YOU!!! This one definitely saves me at least 30 minutes of trying to replicate real life scenarios.Comment
