I mean you consider Cousins a "franchise player" but he's missed the playoffs for the last 6 years and can barely lead his team to a 30+ win season. Really impressive.

So honestly your definition of a "franchise player" is pretty vague. There's only a few real "franchise players" in the league.
As if it is COUSINS's fault that his teams didn't make the playoffs
    Concrete evidence/videos please

We can debate all day long but when it comes down to it...the 2K Devs have an algorithm that gives them the ratings and it is what it is. If the player you think deserves more balls out this coming season...they'll probably get the upgrade.

kyrie and dame are the same players to me... so I feel like they should have the same rating.

Also, Harden dropping to 90 is a bit odd, guess they also saw the Harden hate and didn't dare to keep him the same.
Ratings are based one more than just offense. Klay is one of the best 2 way players in the league. How quickly ppl forget about when he went god mode in game 6 vs okc. I'm not even a GSW fan, but too many ppl think bball is only about scoring.

Algorithm...yeah..Ask George Hill about it. Subpar defender and shooter in this game...Don't know which algorithm gives a 40% percent shooter (16th best in the league last season) a 82 standing three and a 70 onball defense for a pretty good defender (under 30% fg in isolations against him)

How on earth can they look at LeBrons player model and say to themselves yep, we've nailed it. It seriously couldn't be further from what his body type is in real life. Those legs are ridiculous!
The whole proportion of everything is just off. This was seriously the one thing I wanted fixed for 2k17 and I honestly think I'll be waiting till PS5.
His model has progressively gotten worse since 2k14 when in reality it should be getting better. F#%K I'm annoyed !!

The body type is (again) too skinny, but that looks exactly like Evan. Of course, the trolls on Twitter don't agree.

I am in complete agree that the game needs refinements to the models and just more body types in general, but people need to remember that on last gen everyone (yes, everyone) shared the same body type.

We definitely need to keep them aware of the issue, yet no one should act astounished or dismayed if it is abundantly clear (by now) the models weren't a priorty.

And the guy who got the game early completely skipped all three Spur rookies (Davis, Murray & Jean - Charles). I going to assume that Bertans and Jean - Charles have crappy "cave men" faces, while Jean - Charles is the lowest rated player on the team.

If you cut the picture off at his knees and pretend his legs are like a foot longer it looks pretty decent. He's got Korean soccer player calves. Smh

He kinda looks like a Gears of Wars character.

He doesn't look that way in footage or in the other player edit screen picture floating around. Therefore I have hope.

And people need to remember that last years player models (which needed work in their own right), look BETTER than 2K17.

                                How do you go backwards?
