Yeah..well I try to figure out what I'm buying first, before I go ahead and buy it. Judging from the topic of the post; it's a pretty fair assessment that you don't have a ton of capital to be "investing" in virtual basketball cards. You've made a purchase without even knowing what you're buying and compound it by complaining to a bunch of strangers.

I don't u first and why nobody seems to understand that what I'm saying isn't okay. I'm no sure what your trying to say about not having capital to invest in this game try's again, but I'm tired of spending hundreds and unfortunately this year after a few bad decisions and some irl luck a few thousand only for 2K to say oh thanks for this money have some bronze trash. That's why I was excited about those preorder cards. But it's not a cool thing to do for them to advertise it and have people who buy the 100 dolls edition to get it and then wait till 3 weeks before it drops, after hundreds and thousands of people thinking that they were promised something like last years Jordan edition, to be like " OH yeah sorry guys forgot to mention those free agents cards are only a trial if you want the real ones open some packs and get screwed again". THAT IS WHAT ISN'T OKAY AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ITS SO HARD TO COMPREHEND

Are you going to actually post something. Co structure or relevant to the topic though? Because so far you haven't and seem to be completely ignoring everything I say proven by this post as you apparently didn't read anything beyond that one sentence and don't know what this thread is even about.

we've known that the free agent cards were limited use trial cards for 2-3 months now.

I mean, that should've been common knowledge from day 1 when the pre-order bonuses were first named and these new "free agent" cards were listed, at least it would've been if you put in any type of effort to understand what you're getting or what is new this year.

I bought the gold legend edition for the 100K vc, poster, 2 panini trading cards, 5 MT packs, 24 digital shoes, #8 jersey and kobe hoodie.

not necessarily the Kobe or MJ free agent cards which I always considered just a bonus from the jump.

does it help if I tell you that I've heard that the contract for free agent cards doesn't expire when you use them in a friendly?

Pre-order bonuses especially for myteam are way worse than if you were investing these additional money on bying VC

40$ in VC would get you 150k VC or something, and while now you will get like what? 25?

Plus this is not new news, in 2k15 it was a Silver rookie KD, and last year an 82 first game MJ.

Both of these cards are unusable after 1-2 weeks of the game release.

This is why I always buy the standard versions only

The trial cards don't have anything to do with the preorder I believe. They are just a general feature for everyone when they start myteam.

Is it better/smarter to preorder the gold kobe edition for $100 or to buy the regular version for $60 and buy 100k worth of VC? I know you get the kobe jersey and shoes for myplayer/mypark but I don't play those modes for maybe more than a week so that doesn't matter to me really but those free agent cards and extra packs I would like lol.

Apparently everyone gets a free trial card of a great player anyway so you don't need to preorder for that.

I do play mycareer but I don't see the point paying all that money for shoes.

IMO the most sensible thing this year is to get the standard version and buy the vc (and I ALWAYS pre order the best version)

I think it means everyone gets a trial card for MyTeam and if you preorder you get an additional trial card.

Ok. I thought so lol, I had gone through everything to preorder the gold kobe edition and it came out to like $108 and I'm like damn do I wanna spend that or see if there is a cheaper way lol. Thank man.

I'm on the verge of pre-ordering the Legend Gold Edition. I know the Kobe and MJ cards will be temporary but will I be able to wait until I get to the unrestricted seeds to use them? I don't mind them being temporary if I can use them whenever I need to.
