Re: Ronnie 2k's Response to There Being No New Hairstyles...
You do realize that there is an entire community dedicated to creating players and rosters? And he just basically mocked them all in 1 tweet.Comment

Seems to me that he's saying "We put so much effort into parts of the game that actually matter, which affect how the game plays on the court, and THIS is what you're choosing to obsess over? THIS is the hill you want to die on? Hair?"
What a stupid reason to not buy a game.Comment

I don't care about there being no hairstyles, I was fine with that before. But why people allow 2k employees to mock their customers like that is beyond me. I'm not AT ALL, saying that Create A Player should be a number 1 priority, but he basically ruined all hope for it ever being improved.Seems to me that he's saying "We put so much effort into parts of the game that actually matter, which affect how the game plays on the court, and THIS is what you're choosing to obsess over? Ronnie's response is juvenile. People calling for him to get fired when people have been outright horrible in terms of name calling and not-so-well wishes are definitely worse. I mean, I don't like his approach but it seems more like ribbing to me than him being malicious.Comment

He hasn't ruined any hope of anything, the guy isn't in charge. There is literally 0 benefit for you to read his tweets or ask him questions. People who grows legit gripes with Ronnie2K have been hanging out at the wrong places. You don't need his tweets in your life.I don't care about there being no hairstyles, I was fine with that before. But why people allow 2k employees to mock their customers like that is beyond me. Re: Ronnie 2k's Response to There Being No New Hairstyles...
Maybe, but he should've worded it better, instead of indirectly mocking a part of the community who focus on those details more (some MyCareer guys, and especially Draft/Roster editors). I'm sure he's gotten tons of insults over the years due to other's (bad) job, but he perhaps should be more careful with his words.Seems to me that he's saying "We put so much effort into parts of the game that actually matter, which affect how the game plays on the court, and THIS is what you're choosing to obsess over? Re: Ronnie 2k's Response to There Being No New Hairstyles...
so they add tons shoes and jerseys and clothing options(myplayer/gm) to the game each year so you can Dress Up your player during cut scenes and in the park, but he says people wanting new hairstyles are asking for barbie dress up? that's messed up and totally rude. shoes that they hype is more barbie dress up than hairstyles. he was totally unprofessional there.Comment

Re: Ronnie 2k's Response to There Being No New Hairstyles...
It's possible though to acknowledge all of the above at once. No need to tell people who care about CAP to shut up. I don't take a back seat to anyone in appreciation for what we've learned about gameplay and this development cycle. I don't doubt we're going to learn even more next week.
At the same time, Ronnie's response was stupid and even stupider for a guy who's basically a salesman, mocking and even subtly slinging homophobia at interested, engaged potential customers.Last edited by LorenzoDC; 09-01-2016, 03:42 PM.Comment
