Ever play basketball and look at yourself from side while you play or do you see whats in front of you? I mean are you watching a game or are you playing a game? Maybe not so ridiculous.

2k cam, like broadcast, is not a "third person" cam. It doesn't follow each individual player you still have your account for players on the sidelines and so on. Neither of them replicate any sort of real life POV so it's all up to your preference. Other than transition their is no other tangible advantage to 2k cam it's all in people's heads. One could argue, also, that broadcast has an advantage because you don't have to account for the time lost on the flip on turnovers and rebounds. The flip is a bit disorienting and sometimes cause you to go out of bounds or unwanted spin moves.

Of course it is impossible to play with a 2k cam, but the only problem with broadcast cam is the feeling that the paint is a square while when you are watching a real game the paint is like a large rectangle.

2k cam is arcade, 2k broadcast closer to the reality!

Sorry i wanted to go quikly and i misspoke, of course i can play with every camera, but first of all, it is less easy than the braodcast, and it doesn't help me to imagine that i'm watching a game.
Those are the 2 reasons why it is impossible for me to play with the 2k cam and i'm asking me why this one still exist, but every part is the best part!!

I'm so shocked, a thread on OS with people arguing their way to play is best and "more sim" or "most realistic" and people who play other ways are inferior.

I play 2K cam because for me it opens up my view of the floor better than broadcast does.

The one negative thing with 2K cam is that on the fast break I sometimes make a misstep if I don't time it right when the camera turns.

When I play broadcast I noticed I favored the bottom of the screen again because I feel I can't see what's going on from the top.

But I agree that broadcast is prettier to look at though.
