How do you choose the double teammate to double team with your on-ball defender?

I just can't find the control, I am using Lowry guarding Curry, and I want JV to come over to double team, how do I press these actions out on PS4, please help thanks!

Press L1 and then hold the button of the player you want to send to double.

and then a menu comes up with a lot of options that has nothing to double with double teaming?

Your not holding it...... I didn't know they changed it either... I had been calling doubles by just holding L1. But recently find out if you hold the button of the player you want. He will come with the double. Your other teammates will even rotate off the open man.

Tap L1 and then hold the button of the defender you want to double with. I think it's written wrong in the manual.

edit: Actually I'm wrong it's the right way in the manual
