I suppose you could play blacktop mode and do a 2 on 2 game. Maybe that would give some practice options for alley oops?

Like I said in the other thread. You can practice any inbound they have. Lobs don't work well.

Sorry just read your comment back on the other thread, but I don’t get bro, why can’t they insert those lob plays inside the game for us to practice…

So since we can’t practice those lob plays, they are not part of the playbooks, so my question is, if I am down with a second left, what do I do to win? Just manually control the center or power forward and stay under the basket and then just double click triangle to attempt a self-created lob play???

        Input guys?

You can use those plays. But the Passer needs to be good and the player need to be wide open. I've only seen it a few times in practice. Never seen it in a game before.

I just control whatever player, make a beeline for the basket, and call for the lob.

So maybe for an example, using the video you quoted in the other thread, do I just pick a play that will get a player to cut into the basket, and then double tap triangle to see if the player cutting can catch the alley-hoop pass? Thanks.

Thank you.... the rate is super low. I've seen it work maybe twice in practice in the last 10 months. And I've never ever seen it work in an actually game before. I would of posted that highlight a long time ago lol. There are Alley Oop plays just for what your talking about. One is called Alley Cut I think. But it rarely worked as mentioned before. Even doing it manual like someone said is close to impossible.

hahaha but it is kinda of close to impossible in reality, I was just thinking like maybe it is a cheese move to do so, I haven't done it before so I don't know right, I thought it would be something like using JV running from the free throw line getting a pass from Lowry on the baseline and then just double click triangle then boom won the game just like that, so it is good to hear that it is actually impossible to do, so that I can do it in the game if needed and don't feel I cheated if i can ever pull it off!

I also want to know, why so many inbound plays are missing from the playbook that cause us unable to practice, such as all those alley-opp plays etc...I saw there are total of like 4 pages in real game but in playbook there is only like half of them?!?!?!?!?
