Boredom or being upset doesnt justify non-constructive or trolling posts. There are plenty of constructive negative posts on this forum. If you can do that, you will be here for a while. If not, well....

But I'm not trolling. Just because my negative viewpoint rears it head in the majority of the main threads in the past day, that doesn't mean I'm trolling or trying to derail with non-constructive posts.

I think I may need to take a break from this board. It's negativity is seriously getting to me (not pointing at you 23. You always have valid concerns with proof including this one).

It will be very disappointing if this authentic sounds thing ends up being another gimmick.

Nah....only thing new are the ball sounds and the crowd chants shown on the trailer. The buzzer sounds and specific announcer call outs are in game already.

I don't think he can say anything like Mike can because he was directly involved with gameplay while LD2K is involved with....well... hype.

And I'm not arguing your point regarding the default sound because I agree. My impression of the trailer was that they've made subtle advancements but they are still not there yet.

If that trailer was embellished, it's going to do more harm than good.

After this you won't hear from me anymore. It's just something I was going to show and mention anyway for the guys who care about the immersion...but not feeling optimistic here, and won't say anything about it ever again.

I think everyone is just getting anxious about the release and they finally want their particular aspects of the game to be fixed/improved.

I personally want the coach/player and MyGM interactions to be better than last year but I've been pretty impressed with the other content they've put out that I'm more than happy to wait.

Everyone's poison is different.

LOL. You just described trolling. Every aspect of this game isnt bad. There are some issues with the game but its not a bad game.

So if you have a negative viewpoint about damn near every thread and you feel the need to express that in every thread....thats considered trolling. You arent pushing the conversation forward. You arent discussing ways the issues can be fixed. You are just consistently bashing the game, the company and the devs.

I honestly don't think much of the audio is new. They're probably selling it to us as a new feature though.

You're acting like a hate everything about the game and constantly make mention of that. I don't. My posting history proves that.

I'm not going to react positively to an audio trailer that in my mind is clearly misleading, nor with MyCareer which just continues to stray further away from the mode I enjoyed in the older days. I don't see why I can't post my disapproval.

The net and rim sounds are great, and was a much needed overhaul on those. But the atmosphere doesn't sound any different to me, and that needs far more attention than what sound the ball makes when it hits the court.

There are so many things that are missing. The biggest thing is the lack of organ music, etc. that is played on so many possessions in real life that are just absent in 2k. The crowd doesn't seem to pay much attention to what's actually happening on the court.

When Gasol made that first shot at the beginning of the clip 23 posted, the crowd didn't change. They got *slightly* louder when he took the shot, but didn't care after it went in. A missed shot followed by a block, and there was nothing from the crowd.

The same goes for the commentary; they focus too much on the "back stories" and their banter that it doesn't even feel like they're watching and commenting on the game in front of them.

Reasons I'm only on the forum leading up to the release of the game every year.

If i do come back on during the year it's only for custom rosters, you guys are crazy lol. RELAX !

Been a member for 2-3 years and I've lurked since about 2k11-2k12 and I never knew it got like this. I love 2k and I'm passionate about it as the next man but at the end of the day we can't forget that this is a game.

You should read your own posting history. Its unconstructive negative post after negative post over the past week or so.

No one says you have to be positive. You just have to be constructive. If you need help with understanding what that means, I can give you examples.
