Love missing Layups with my slasher while kids just run around netting 3s

My friend who is a slasher is really struggling,,, I feel for yall,, he says he's Harrison Barnes of the 2016 finals lol unreliable jumper, clanking layups and euros, clanking dunks, not triggering poster animations, untimely blocks lol

I thought he was OK but apparently his ship is sinking and he's hopping back to 16 while he works on a new Shot Creator build.

I've always felt Outside players can achieve same results as Inside so I never bothered with Inside builds in 16 because they can't achieve what outside players can. Sure the outside build doesn't get the crazy dunk packages but balanced does and now in 17 you have easier eligibility for park dunks.

I can barely stand the mode this year. Sharpshooters ruin it. I can't hit a layup, getting gang bg tackled in the paint with no fouls. They just step over half court and shoot. And all the archetypes aren't good enough defensively to shut them down. I'm reconsidering my long term play of this game. Archetypes are killing it for me.

I agree i dont like playing with house rules this forces you to play stupid...

Park is really frustrating this year defense is no existent because off this OP badges...

Yeah park is getting boring for me....I like the 5 badges to gold for each archetype idea but then some genius decided to go over gold and overpower them. Christ...going gold is enough....are they really serious with going Esports?

With this lag? Esports? To play esport game needs to be smooth and balanced right now its the opposite.

Park is fun as hell man. Honestly way more fun than park on '16.

People moaning about archetypes and things like Sharpshooters draining shots from half court or stepping just over, well learn your match-up. If they are a slasher you can sag off and prepare for them to drive, if they are a sharpshooter then you have to mark them tightly on the perimeter, if they are a shot creator then you make sure they are standing still when they take a shot and playmaker is similar except the usual left right cheesers.

I'm a sharpshooter(on my second character, main is a LDD) and on the defensive end I can shut down most archetypes because I check their stats and then see what their archetype is.. Use the tools available to your advantage and adapt.
