        Thanks!
I was definitly able to chain some moves together and blow by my defender with a quick explosion... But we don't know if that will change when the difficulty is raised.

I guess you have to explain what improvements you're seeing. (if you've already played it). I see improvements, but not really anything that is going enhance the experience or make it re-playable for me.

I was playing my first game and the announcers were debating if I will be a 2 or 3 in the NBA. Nice 2K.

I only got one go around but the huge improvement for me is the smoothness of the gameplay which is a big step from 2k16. The dribbling and your ability to explode is much better. And I've not come across any canned animations... those are huge steps for me already. 2k16 had good gameplay and they improved on some of the huge negatives so that's a plus to me.

got sick of the 2 tunes pretty quickly though, and only figured out where the animations were after the last game so that sucked, there's also the possibility to look at all the animations

                          really liked it so far
And now you have to wait until next week to play again?

Audio, sound fx, athmosphere of theses college games were really good. Doesn't sound as deep as a live 10 but still really good.

Ball/rim interaction look and sound a lot more realistic. You feel the weight of the ball bouncing on the rim. You get some new and really good looking half in and out ball animations that looks great.

Seemless transitions between moving and shooting. It's very fluid.

Responsiveness/input lag and player movement a major improvement from 16 on both ends. The whole thing just looks a lot more fluid and lifelike.

Loving the timing on hook shots and layups. You can really hang in the air with the ball and release when you decide. You feel a lot more in control instead of just watching the animation playout.

Difficulty is definately very low but you can really create shots in small spaces and the pullups seem pretty reliable. That brings back that 2K11 vibe.

While defending the P'n'R you canno't cheat as much as you could before, the AI will not take the screen and attack/or shoot the other side if you do. Pretty cool and human like.

                              Cons :

The overhead skip passes are awfully slow. Need to speed em up or ditch em. I also dislike that they still have thoses instances where a random pass triggers when you wanted something else. They really need to remove that thing. If you press the bounce pass button it has to be a bounce pass 100% of the time.

The skinny, muscle less arms, ill looking bodytypes are just bad. I'am sorry 2K but with the exception of Ingram and probably a few others nobody looks like that.

Still some passes that go through bodies.

There is a lot more of pros and cons most likely (you can't figure out the whole game in one hour of play) but that's on the top of my head. Overall I'am sold on the game. Feels very different in a good way and as barebones as it was (no plays, no idea who you're playing with etc) it was pretty fun. The two biggest things that makes a huge difference for me is responsiveness and how the game sounds.
Vni i actually like this skinny body type its for sure better than our player body type which i cant stand it and this gorilla face
                              2k18 fixes

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

Late contest on laups matter too much.

                              Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.

I know I'm not Vni but I was sliding a bit on defense but Im hoping that's only because of the defensive assist... I did find it easier to hold my man all 94 feet this time around. But sometimes it felt as though I couldn't contest shots properly or my player would jump where I wouldn't want him to go... idk if that was just me.
