Just finished a game and I can't believe how many cheesy, terrible animations I just sat through - both on offensive and defense.



- Being pulled out of the post just so I can be stripped is fun (Literally. Started backing down and then appeared to be walking away from the basket as if I was ran down aware. Awful.)

- Twice shutting down a post drive, the ball spills from my opponent's hands only for him to recover the ball and score before I finish the first animation

- Being cherry picked because you're stuck in a replay or focused shot of your My Player after your team scores, AI lobs it down court and you're unable to stop your opponent

- The ball bouncing off of your forehead when going for a rebound (both offensive and defensive)

- Got called for an Over The Back (usually I'm ok since they're usually obvious and easy to avoid) but in this case I've got front position, jumped for the rebound and had another player go in front of my whilst I'm mid air. I end up landing in this animation and called for the foul. I checked the replay and the 3rd person (and the player that ended up being "fouled") started just under the 3pt line as I went up.



Look I hate to complain and I do enjoy the game but surely we don't need so many terrible animations. I ended up intentionally fouling out of this game in frustration. Just an awful experience.

The community consensus is that you cannot unlock all. If you only play mycareer and do not play park, you can have a max of 125 upgrades (out of a total of 150).

If you play park in addition to mycareer, you can unlock 10 more, so 135 upgrades out of a total of 150.

That is totally unfair for people who doesnt have online.

We have enough with the estrict cap attributes.

I hope one day they separate My Career and the Park.

The game glitches your the shoes you wear for games if you leave a brand for another. It'll be stuck on your old brand, i hope they fix it in a patch

Does anyone know where to watch your interview with Rachel Demita for 2kTV? I just did that event and I can see fans tweeting about it on the social media feed but I have no idea where I can watch it.

im in all star weekend and just finished the 3 pnt contest and now every time it loads too the dunk contest a error keeps occurring and its pissing me off Im a 92 overall with all my hof badges andd about 18 more I had a funny feeling this was going to happen wtf should I do?

Hey guys. I stopped playing NBA 2k after 2K14 on next gen. Been playing since 2k9. Mycareer's really the only reason I play and so far I'm pretty dissappointed with this year's mycareer edition. I don't like how we are restricted in badges based on our choices. For example I used to love making a scoring small forward or athletic small forward who could make big blocks with the eraser badge. I also really don't like the skill caps this year.

But I love how they have handled everything else. The gameplay looks fun, the mycareer story seems interesting, and the opportunity to play for colleges looks fun.

I was wondering if you could answer a couple questions bc I am consodering buying it.

Can you edit custom rosters for mycareer?


Can you increase attribute caps?

Can you get a 99 overall?

can you unlock badges not locked to your class?

and finally do you think mycareer mode this year is worth buying the game?

Anyone having problems with no cut scenes? I am 7 games in, and have had very little. But my friend, while watching him play, seems to have cut scenes after every game..

can you unlock badges not locked to your class? YES BUT YOU CAN'T UPGRADE THEM

and finally do you think mycareer mode this year is worth buying the game? IT'S FUN BUT THE BUGS CAN BE UNBEARABLE DEPENDING ON WHICH ONES YOU GET HIT WITH.

You can do My-League player lock.

Where you can do all of that.

This is an E rated game. the story is minimalist and bland.

You have no restrictions playing a My-League.

Has anyone had issues with a tattoo not getting removed properly? I added a tattoo as a base (was going to try and create a larger one from it) and realized I wanted a different one, so I removed it. It doesn't show up on my player in the MyPlayer screen anymore, but it still shows up in MyCareer.

Is there somewhere else I need to remove it for MyCareer or is it bugged? (Playing on PS4, btw)

Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread

7'1" 300lb Post Scoring Center, HOF Sim. Drafted to DEN. Started off rocky, but we're rolling now, and we aren't an easy win. In fact, if Justice isn't passing the ball to the wing as soon as he comes up court, we are a serious threat in the pick 'n' roll. We meaning the Denver Nuggets. We have shooters, and The Manimal often gets lobs from Justice when his man leaves him to help with the PnR.

I got voted as the top reserve for the West, and I'm in the dunk contest[emoji849][emoji849][emoji849][emoji849].

Currently giving the GSW a run for their money in the 4th, and we're up. If we win, it could good momentum going into the All-Star weekend.

Hmm... Now some of the pre game and post game shows are skipping ahead? I wonder if a restart fixes it.
