How would you advise the upgrades distribute? How important is strength?

Strength is not so important for a SG. Neither is rebounding. Focus on lay ups, shooting, and defense. Next is playmaking.

I love how its nowhere in game told that you only get 125/150 upgrades while playing mycareer. Some people can easily start up mc, grind it and get caught by surprise that they actually can't max out every designated attribute bar. And for most builds you can easily brick your character permanently by spending points in a less important category (eg 3pt on post scorer) . I , for instance, also was thinking you can max out each cap for your build considering how limited each archetypes are and only found it out from reddit i have to be careful about spending my attribute points.

Of course u get some more cap upgrades by playing park, but even superstar 1 rank is out of reach for average joe. Not mentioning people who don't intend to play park at all.

Is this true? I was under the impression you could gain basically unlimited attribute upgrades through the practices.

Can't seem to get this question answered so I'll try again.

1)When do you reach level 2 of your shoe deal? I have Nike, and wondering when I'll be able to start wearing the free shoes.

2)Also, unrelated, but if anyone knows it would be SERIOUSLY APPRECIATED Does anyone know if the game sims past a connection appointment in your calendar, causing you to miss it, will that person ever come around again, or am I SOL?

I had the glitch where coach K would contact me, I'd accept, but it'd never show. Finally one time, I accepted, and it showed in my calendar for the following day. I had a game to play today, with coach K appointment scheduled tomorrow. So I load up the game and after I start, I sim to end of the game. When it finishes, to my sheer HORROR, it didn't sim to the end of the game.....IT SIMS ALL THE WAY TO THE NEXT SCHEDULED GAME ON MY CALENDAR!! This causes me to miss a practice, endorsement appointment, and the coach K meeting to get shot editor! I've played 2 more games and haven't got messaged again from coach K since. Did the game just completely screw me??? Can I now no longer access this feature??

Through 39 games with the GSW, I'm averaging 17.9 pts, 16.8 rebs, 5.2 ast, 0.8 stls, and 2.8 blks on 68% FG and 76.2% from the FT line. We're 36-3 and winning by about 15-20 most games (10 min quarters, HOF). Had a tense game with Toronto (who are freakishly good in this game) where steph and KD were out. I took over, scoring a career high 41 pts and executed a game winning inbounds play that thompson nailed with .02 secs left. As cheese as it is, playing with the warriors is a lot of fun. Especially given how many bugs and game breaking scenarios are popping up, it's nice to just have fun while playing.

eventually you don't get extra upgrade point reaching the end of progress bar.

Well that's it for me.
Right now i'm filled with frustration. I'm a career player only, i don't care about online stuff nor the other modes, and i'm asking myself : what's the point playing it ?

For me Mycareer is a kind of a sport-rpg, where i can level my character from dust to legend and follow a (crappy) story. But i just found out that despite being pigeon-holed in a single role by those Archetypes, i can't even fill-up entirely my attributes as a GC...

So i'm stuck being a very good rebounder, with a decent dunk and average defence, but with the worst shoot and ball handling of the game... All that's left for me is to go deeper into the attributes that i have already invest on and that's all...

What's the point ? Get rid of mycareer already if it's only a entry point for mypark or proam and state so.

Sorry for venting it out here, but i really feel disapointed in this game and in 2k.

2k, your game is good in it's core but you are becoming lazy both on the communication part and in the improvement of your game.

Recently since the new patch, I've really struggled to get postion in the paint for offensive rebounds, just getting blocked out constantly.

Got a 7" 250 pound centre, glass cleaner with all badges for glass cleaner and 71 strength.

I was fine before was getting 3+ offensive rebounds a game easy, now I'm getting stuck behind defenders, trying to get to the rim and the other times I'm getting boxed out hard

I've actually found MyCareer to play very well after the latest update from Beluba. Games are close and we've had to win a few tough ones and lose a few tough ones. But that's just me.

Right after our last game there's a cutscene about the dad and then a phone call cutscene from Michael B Jordan how he needs change and will leave and already made up his mind about it. I have no input so cutscene ends.

Next up - Free Agency Menu - same as last year, pick 3 teams, etc...

During negotiations all I see is past seasons roster so Jordan is listed as Celtic and I have no idea what his next team is.

I choose Warriors because I remember a text from Curry a few weeks ago asking me to join them.

Generic cutscene with Agent and HS Coach. Next season starts right after that

- MBJ chose Clippers
- Curry signed for Nets

17 Games in and I'm wondering whats the best way to get to my Celtics should I finish out the season with the Lakers or should I ask for a trade in the off season or try to go there through free agency...I want to take Justice with me btw

KD stayed and Patty Mills is the new point guard. No Iggy or Shaun Livingston either. Or Zaza or West.

But Nate Robinson made a comeback.
