Okay, they even got rid of the ring ceremony in MyCareer?

Okay, so they got rid of the ring ceremony and the pregame introductions. They added cool features with more color commentators and added kenny to the pregame show, but took out two key presentation aspects of the game. That to me is unacceptable.

I wish - you can't sim like the regular season - only get into the game and press sim from inside.

I guess I'm a point where the bug kicks in where the "Doing Work" meter doesn't show anymore and I don't know if I'm able to see if I can continue to unlock upgrades. I was still grinding to boost Strength. But if Im forced not to upgrade, then I won't do practice anymore. Besides Team Practices.
Only 9 games left in my season . I have 4 Team Practices left. I'm not concerned about Home Court. So I will be skipping games that don't get followed by a Team Practice

Given that you're that close to the end of the season and presuming that you've done the majority of practices to upgrade, you're probably out of upgrades in Career. I have this with one of mine where the meter is gone so there's no point in the optional practices unless you're still getting the other stuff like draw foul, intangibles, etc. Are you at 95? That's the max with upgrades unless you start to reach Superstar in Park.

That is correct. At 95 OVR. I don't any Online like that.
But when I think about it. Not much more I wanted to boost. I wanted to keep boosting Strength. But I'm a good level at it.
I guess I will continue on with this one and save up VC for another career

8 games left in my Rookie season and 3 game lead in Conference at #1, I'm finally ready to sim games. I only have 2 team practices I want to do because I want to boost FT(at 84 FT), but I don't think we would lose #1 seed. Nothing left to prove in regular season. A lock for ROY and DPOY. Actually surprised that I'm a lock for DPOY. A few more players that average more blocks and that in season Lebron is averaging 3 steals a game. I guess it is because I'm averaging 2.6 blocks and 1.6 steals, with #1 in Rebounds.
So If I want to do the last couple team practices, I will have to play 2 of last 8 games.
I'm actually looking forward to FA compared to playoffs. Even though with the way we are playing, We come back in a lot of games. Besides Cavs(only played 1 game against them, injured and/or simmed), no one in East gave us problems. if it is Warriors, they will be a tough matchup. Because Justice can do a good job with Steph. But Klay and KD will go off on Fournier and Jeff Green. But I think we can beat the Spurs, we blew them out last time we played them. I would most likely play shorter minutes in playoff.
But still want to see how Free Agency affects this team. Like I said last time, we have 9 players in the last year of contract or has a team option. I don't know if FA is like last year where at least you'll know how the roster will be before you sign

First year playing MyCareer so will need to up the difficulty for season 2 as it's clearly been far too easy for season 1. I was drafted by Chicago and after riding the bench for a bit I got the starting gig sending Rondo to the bench. We are sitting at 65-8 and a couple of those losses were when I was injured. Anyways with 9 games left on my season here are my stat lines....

6'4" Sharpshooting PG
17.64 PPG
5.01 RPG
8.33 APG
1.76 SPG
0.47 BPG

I'm shooting just a hair over 50% from the field, 82% from the FT line and 40% from three. The constant text messages mixed with the coach repeating the same idiotic lines every single timeout are starting to grate on me so might not make it far into season 2 but the mode itself isnt too terribly bad.

I started to sim final games of my rookie season. After simming 4 games, we won them all and still put up my usual stats. So we are 59-20 and locked up the #1 spot in the East. I have one more Team Practice after my next game. So I will play 1st 3 quarters and sim rest of game. Then sim last 2 games and we'll end up winning over 60 games. My next game, last game I'll play this regular season is against Pacers. Pacers is fighting against Pistons for #7 spot. Since we'll most likely beat them, it might knock them back to #8. So this will be a test for the first round of playoffs if this the matchup.

Finished the regular season of my rookie season. We finished 61-21, #1 in east. I averaged 22 points, 16 rebs, 2.6 blocks, 1.7 steals. I won the MVP, DPOY, and ROY. I'm surprised that I won MVP despite Lebron leading the MVP race since early in season.
I actually might not play the playoffs. Since I won MVP, I don't want to try to win Title all in my rookie year, there wouldn't be much to play for. So, I will sim games in Playoffs. And basically go to Free Agency. As long as we make it past round 1, I'm okay with this season in whole.

After simmin playoffs, we lost in Game 7 of the Second Round. In FA, I chose Magic(team I was with), Portland, and Kings as my top 3 choices. I was tempted with Kings because playing next to Cousins and they got a top 3 player in draft who rated 80 OVR, but not much else than Cousins and he was on last year of deal. Was really tempted with Portland because would have been a big 3 and their center isn't too bad, but wouldn't be much of defensive team. So, I stayed with Magic and re-upped for a 3 year 80 mil contract, Justice signed for 4 year 92 million. Even though a lot of players were on last year of contract, team is pretty much the same. Besides we signing Anthony Morrow for SF. I wanted a two way player, but at least he gives us a 3pt shooter we needed at SF. But Aaron Gordon and Payton only got 1 year left. But we are 21 mil over the cap for next year, so nothing really to look forward too.
I hope we trade Ibaka and/or Biyombo, Gordon, and Payton. At least one of them. We need more depth at SG and SF. I might sim most of season until All Star

My team was playing like trash so I simmed to next season so my teammates would improve. So I go look at every team's roster and KD signed with Philly...lmao! and somehow they still have Noel, Oakafor, and embiid as well.

In my game KD went to Dallas. He always goes to **** teams from what I've seen.
