I am so ******* tired every year in MyCareer building a double digit lead, getting subbed out and then back in a few minutes later down by a few points. It's happening EVERY game and starting to piss me off.

Playing on the Bulls on superstar difficulty. 7 game losing streak because of this crap.

In nba2k16 you could adjust free throw difficulty in my career
mode you can do it in main menu settings but not in career so I'm going to post on message board that 2k should patch this issue. so please comment on it so maybe they will do something about it. also I noticed this, If you try different free throw animation the meter moves slower maybe somebody can find one that works for somebody that's having problems, Don't use Steph curry though the meter just fly's were another one go's so super slow.

Any time I go to an optional practice and say no to a drill my guy automatically walks over toward Jason R for the hey talk to me I'm with the media cutscene. It's excrutiatingly long and unskippable and worst of all IT RIPS ME STRAIGHT OUT OF THE PRACTICE WITH NO INPUT. I HAVE WATCHED THIS CUTSCENE 6 TIMES NOW AND I CANT DO WHAT I WANT IN THE PRACTICE COURT ANYMORE.

Currently watching this cutscene for the 14th time. My practice is legit broken. Someone please help.

Interesting...I got a different picture from the same event. We had orange t shirts and we were posing differently (smiling and laughing). It's cool that there's a variation.

I don't understand, what's the problem? 2K server boots you out?

In my game I had the scene with him and then it ended my practice early so I couldn't fill my doing work meter fully. That's fine, I just let it go and moved on to the next event/practice session/game.

If your game is glitching and kicking you out or something I think you need to contact 2k, there's nothing anyone on a board can do...

I was wondering if I could get a question answered here. Do Items bought in the shop like jumpshots and also clothes finally carry over to other careers? Or do I have to buy them again and again like last year if I want to start another career later in the year? Also can one buy items offline with SP? Or is everything locked and you basically have to make do with all the standard stuff you already have offline?

Just an educated guess, but I'd say you'd have to purchase them again, because otherwise you could equip slasher contact dunks to a sharpshooter as they would just be in your inventory. I think that's probably why the menu system is so laborious this year, so all playstyles are separated out.

Starting to think a lot of the changes in this mode are surface changes. There's no depth to the drills or weight lifting. Like why does lifting and playing 2v2 give you the same reward (doin work meter). At least last year certain drills gave you boosts. The drills actually seem more simplistic this year when they made it seem like it'd be a deeper system.

You do get boosts, I've seen boosts to stamina, court vision and etc after weight lifting and drills.

Ironically I now have the same issue lol, I'm watching it for the second time.

I would suggest saying yes and doing the drills to at least get something out of practice. I almost filled my doing work meter by getting a gold and a silver on the 2 drills I got to do before the cutscene.

This is probably gonna need a patch.

Edit: I've just realised it's pointless filling the doing work meter as it doesn't get a chance to drain before you leave. Optional practice is actually broken once you get this far into the season. This is quite an issue...

No, he asks you to say something bad in the media to shake the team up (because morale is low)...sounds like you are ahead of me because this is the first time I've met him in practice
