Thanks, much appreciated. Sucks that I missed that game and the event appearance VC/practices but it's much better than starting over and also losing all the VC I've accrued that I put into the player.

Yeah I missed my event and my mandatory practice. I lost mins but it's better than restarting for sure!

Hey all, I hope I'm posting this right. I'm here from Reddit since it seems like none of them could figure this out.

So I'm a 6'2" Playmaking PG on the Suns. The story had been progressing pretty fast for me. It was a couple of days before Christmas that I got the cutscene with Pres, Bruce, Denver, Justice, and Alanah at a dinner table, where Justice had been officially removed from the trade block and Denver had been added back to the roster.

So this was the first time I had heard anything of Denver getting added back onto the roster. After I got back to MyCourt, I checked and Denver was, in fact, NOT back on the roster.

Since this scene, I have yet to get a single cutscene. None. I've tried going to every practice to try to bait cutscenes, and no luck.

So did I reach the end of the story? Did I break MyCareer?

Any advice will be of help. Thanks.

If anyone has a game breaking problem make sure to make a thread so there can be patches sooner than later. 2k will probably return your my player progression through Vc - possibly extra - they have done it before when people have such problems. Hope the problems don't reach me lol.

Are you saying this is what I need to do? My issue is not "game-breaking", but I feel like either A) I'm not getting the full MyCareer experience, or B) I finished the storyline.

Anyone having issues with how much VC they are getting on and off? I seem to get weird amounts.

Any idea, if you are, how to fix this?

I just noticed there is already a thread for bugs etc - just saying make sure to report it in the appropriate thread so 2k can hopefully fix it. In terms of my career progression bugs I have indeed seen cases where players are compensated by getting the vc they had spent - many times more than that. Which makes sense since lost time can equal much more Vc earned. If you can't progress you might as well contact support and try it. Although it's often a last resort by them after "offering" different possible solutions. Hope I have no problems but if I do you can be sure I'll be testing such methods. Sadly games at release often have tons of bugs etc. It's annoying but I'd say technology it's just as equally annoying to predict in terms of stability.

Welp, I have the Mitchell & Ness offer. Have to choose between them and Foot Locker. I'd go M&N, but their VC bonus at each compensation level (beyond the regular events) is tied to Triple-Doubles in National TV games. I have enough difficulty as it is going just for a Double-Double.

Anybody fully understand how endorsements work? I never get any of the items that are listed under the endorsement levels except for the free shoes from nike. For ex. Gatorade had a t-shirt under level one and I never got it, Even when i moved to level two. Same issue with 2k and footlocker. Is it a glitch or am I missing something?

Pretty sure it's a glitch. Seems like they added a lot of depth to MyCareer but unfortunately most of it is broken because of bugs.

E: Speaking of bugs. Does the "hold R2 + L2 to practice shot" just not work for anyone else? It did for a little while but now nothing happens no matter how long I hold it.

Same, I asked for a trade from the Kings to the Jazz. Trying to cancel the trade so I can wait 19 more days to request it again with Justice included.
