If you get drafted #1 and play on Rookie is easier to get before endorsements and VC?¿
Im seeing some youtubers saying that they have half of a million VC in December without buy. Only playing MC. LOL.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread
Yeah DeRozan and Lowrey are both averaging about 15 ppg. DeRozan is a massive black hole who constantly jacks up horrible shots. I'm only about 15 games in, so I don't wanna be a dick and demand a trade, but I can't see myself staying there more than a season.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread
Looking for some advice:
When the prelude came out I was struggling to decide which archetype to pick, and I ended up going with a 6'3 PG sharpshooter.
My style of play as a PG has aways been nothing but the pick and roll every single play and depending on the defenders actions either drive all the way to the hoop, pull up for a mid range shot, or pass it to an one teammate if their defender switched over to me.
I went with sharpshooter because I figured that with this one I'd still be able to pass and get assists to open teammates as well as make layups/dunks if I get to the hoop.
I'm at a 71 overall right now, and have played just under 20 games I think (not at my Xbox right now). I'm just curious what the other PG types are like and if I should create a new player before wasting too much time if I could be more successful playing with either playmaker, shot creator or slasher.
Thanks in advance for anyone who responds with advice!Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread
And WHY WHY WHYYYYY is the help defense still broken? It's like they literally copied and pasted the same defensive schemes from 2k16 over to 2k17. it's so frustrating.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread
Just dropped my 7'3 athletic finisher for a 6'5 playmaking pg... couldn't be happier.
In park, proam, and MC. Might make a 7'3 GC for proam down the road.. but the AF finisher was simply too soft and kept getting man handled. Sucks I didn't realize until after I had 4 HOF badges haha, but I'm glad I made the switch nonetheless. So much fun.

Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread
Serious question, are we being lied to with our MyCareer overall rating? I just created a guy on the rosters with the exact same attributes and he comes out as a 74 rated player when mine is a 91 in MyCareer.Football: Manchester United
MLB: Cleveland Indians
NBA: Miami Heat
NFL: Cleveland BrownsComment

Right, Nike is the only sponsor that starts you at tier 1 w/ no free shoes if you are a lottery pick. Jordan and Adidas start at tier 2 with free shoes and under armor starts at tier 3.
If you want Nike AND free real shoes early, I'd suggest going Adidas and playing well. Nike will come calling after a couple of months and offer you a one time shot at switching to Nike. At that point you'll be tier 2 Nike AND you'll have already had free Adidas brand shoes.
I should add that this scenario has happened a few time and I'm assuming most everyone is getting that offer to switch sponsors.Comment

Yeah the MyCareer overall rating is inflated. It was like that last year too.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread
So the ratings mean feck all. I could be a 75 rated player with my attributes in the correct areas and be a better player than someone who has put in the effort and has a 91-95 rated player basically?Football: Manchester United
MLB: Cleveland Indians
NBA: Miami Heat
NFL: Cleveland BrownsComment
