Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread

i didnt want to make a seperate thread for this but if multiple ppl sre experiencing it - i will



yesterday i earned an attribute bar (got the "congrats, go to store to buy/apply etc") when i went to the store no atteibute bar



the bar starting counting over again as if i had just earned one, but it was no where to be found.



anybody else having the same issue?

Are you talking about the yellow bar that fills up after work outs? If so then it is working correctly. You only have a certain amount of attribute points to start out with, I think it's like 45 or 55, so that you can't max out your player with VC right away. I'm not sure if each archetype has the same max attribute cap but you need to earn those attributes so you can buy the upgrades with VC.

Edit: example: these are just guesses of the numbers. Let's say sharp shooter has 150 attributes total of each category combined. They start you out with 55 that you can upgrade with VC. To unlock the other 95, you need to do workouts. Those workouts fill up the yellow upgrade bar which once filled unlocks an attribute.

Anybody experiencing a crazy amount of and1 plays from the opponents? Insane shots that have no chance of going in after the foul are hitting with an insane amount of consistency.

yea i did the vc max to 86 or 87 when the prelude was out. i have been grinding mycareer for more attribute points but even when i fill up the bar and it resets there is no attribute bar to be bought/applied in the store??

hope i dont sound too dumb if i am completely missing your point lol

Is it me or are the player tendencies broken? Or big men just don't want to dunk. I play on the Knicks and KP lays everything up. I mean everything. Noah would rarely dunk too. Also, you have KP jacking up 3's when they gave him a D- 3pt raiting; which also made no sense. Another thing that bothers me is you can't change sock length, can't upgrade stamina/free throws, accessory colors all messed up, and that Knick blue.

Now I sent Sam a message and I might as well quote it here instead of repeating myself:

So since it will be a terrible grind to get enough VC to actually play a nice career I wanted to get as much feedback as I can so I came here. I hope some of you have an opinion on the matter and maybe some suggestions. I just don't want to make a Center that sucks and kick myself for wasting VC I grinded for for like 50 hours to get it .

Seriously? Nobody has any Feedback on it? Do none of you play Big Man? No wonder the park usually is really rubbish for anyone playing a big... only little dudes running wild.

I actually may be missing yours but in case I am understanding correctly now, it looks as if you've hit the cap for you're archetype. If you have no more attribute slots open, to upgrade with VC, then you have officially hit the cap and I believe the only way to extend the cap a few extra points is play in my park. Now don't quote me on that mypark thing because I think I remember reading it somewhere in the forums. Otherwise If you still have slots open then it may be a major glitch you've come across.

I have read that they are looking into fixing the stamina/free throw glitch. Hopefully soon because it is horribly annoying right now.

I dont have any problems regarding my teammates performance. Im playing on HOF and we are 37 -11 as the 1st seed in the west. I am with the wolves. I must say i am really enjoying this year my career because they hold his own. KAT is a beast and is averaging 16 points and 12 boards. Wiggins is playing good to with 17 points every game. Our last game was against the cavs at the Q. We went to overtime and we got away with the W only by 3. Justice shut down irving. KAt were all over the place and i ended up with 31 points anz 7 assist. The only reason i will leave minnesota is because i got to have a career with the heat. Besides, they are playing awful as the last seed in the east. I know i am leaving a conteder but my heart is in miami. The
game is not perfect by any means, but is so much better than last year.

I was playing on the Pels wrong at first by just giving Justice the ball after rebounds. I didnt know Tyreke had dimer and now I just give him the ball and let him work. Justice always finishes with a bunch of threes and Tyreke has like 9 assist.

Count the number of upgrade points you have. The max you can get without the Park ones is 125. You start with 100 so once you have filled the bar 25 times you are done.

I've never had teammates play this well in 2K before.

I just finished a game against the grizzlies and KAT put on a show. He droped 19 and 13 boards. It was a blowout, complete domination. I ended up with 28 and 7. I am really happy that i dont need to be a 30 point guy every game. I am averaging like 22 and 5. I really like to get my teammates involved.
Oh and my trade to the heat is done. Its time to get another ring for miami.

I didn't even have to score 10 pts to get this win, 3 players scored 25+ points and I'm on Superstar
