Playmaking PG, Sharpshooter at SG Slasher/LDD at 3, Athletic Finisher/Low Post at 4, Stretch Big at 5.

We've got a rotating roster of about 20 guys, but that's our general squad so far.

Are you not worried that teams will just bully you in the paint and own the glass?

Seems well rounded. I am really curious to the different types of teams people throw out there.

Not worried, I think people are putting way too much into the different archetypes, we may not be an elite rebounding or defensive rated team, but we play great team defense and every man on the floor boxes out.

I'm hoping High basketball IQ & team communication trumps the difference in ratings.

I feel like as long as your pick an archetype that fits your play style and your role on the team, you'll do fine.

a well balanced team might not be elite in all aspects, but they can be good at all aspects with solid team play and high basketball IQ

I'm making a 7'1 C modeled after Al Jefferson, with Zaza type smart defense.

How did you guys at 2k decide if archetypes should be shown to your opponent?
I am assuming you guys had a discussion on this at the very least.

I believe that showing your archetypes takes strategy away, you're basically showing them your weakness.. why can't they figure it out on their own?

Edit: I know archetypes are shown to your opponent in MyPark.. So i'm assuming that it's the same for Pro-AM.

We do show you the archetype of your matchups. However, I look at it differently, I think showing your opponents strengths/weakness is more strategic. If you run into a group of sharpshooters and a playmaking PG, you have to plan for that. If the next game you ran into a team of 3 bigs, you would than have to change up your game plan.

If you both know the strengths/weakness of your opponent, it comes down to who can adapt quicker/smarter.

No subs in game. Every game is 5 on 5. The 10 man roster means that you can have 10 guys on a roster and any 5 of them can participate in a game.

How come there's no private matchmaking for the Pro Am leagues out there? make it un-ranked. We just wanna play vs other competitive teams or friends.
