This may have been asked and answered already, but I can't find it through a search.

How do you make adjustments in pro am?
Like how can you change who's guarding who and change CPU defensive settings?

I know it can be done, but our pg cant figure it out.

Your PG has to hit the L1 button, then the icon of his teammate who wants to switch and then move his Right Stick to the player he gonna have to guard.
Same things for defensive settings, except this time when he selects the CPU with the icon, he has to press L2 or R2 and he'll have another menu.

The long time between patches basically killed our team, everyone is playing other games now.

Pro Am = spam screens and watch sharpshooters hit 3s from near midcourt while turboing over and over again.

Legit lol at this game mode that is nothing like basketball and is supposed to be an "e-sport".

It means you bought an unfinished game.

Well that is for sure, but do you know whether this happens because the other team has quit the game or is it just a typical bug like all the millions others that exist in the game

The long time between patches basically killed our team, everyone is playing other games now.

This is so true, I want to move on as well but I truly haven't had the fun I anticipated on this game yet.

I tried to play a Walk-On game with a friend but we got put into two different games (so much for that patch fixing things, huh?). I had one other teammate who quit early on so it was 4 CPU's and myself vs. 4 actual players. EVERY single play was that same thing and the CPU's were terrible at defending it. Even the stretch big C was hitting half court shots after I had to try and help stop the others. Despite that, it was still within 10 the entire game because that was legitimately all they had. They got a few illegal screens but like come on, I know I had CPU's but that's just ridiculous.

I felt like DeMarcus Cousins against the Lakers tonight, doing all I could (19/11/5) to try and win with a team that couldn't defend anything or hit shots.

Tell me why when the opposing team forfeited the match I still end up with the L and I get the 15 minute restriction?

The Pro-Am Lagout issue is still a thing. Once you get Elite 3- Elite 4, the game becomes nearly unplayable. 1-2 people from each side will lag out and everyone will start getting the countdown lag spike simultaneously.

Yes sir, that's why it sometimes sucks if your PG get kicked in the game, nobody would be able to change matchups if needed...

You're seriously not rewarded for trying to play basketball in this game, 4 screens being set out to halfcourt and your player gets sucked into them like they have magnets while the playmaker dances and weaves through them before shooting a three from 26 feet with and splashing it with his 72 three rating. If he can't shoot it then 1 of his teammates will flair out while your teammate gets leveled by the brick wall. Playing top 50 teams will make you hate this game because of how not like basketball it is.

The hall of fame badges and grand badges have killed the authenticity of the basketball that's being played in Pro Am this year.

Each archetype should just have its 5 gold badges, with no way to earn additional bronze badges.

2K can tune their gameplay sliders all they want, but it's these overpowered badges and their associated animations/ratings boosts that have turned 2K17 Pro Am into a 5 vs. 5 version of NBA Jam.

My playmaker with his 74 open three rating was hitting over 50% from three before I stopped playing the mode due to the (still ongoing) match disconnection issues. And that was before anyone else on my team had even unlocked the dimer badge to give my 74 three rating yet another boost. Our team's athletic finisher was also shooting over 50% from three because his 60 open three rating could be boosted by my hall of fame passing badges, his bronze shooting/screening badges, and his entire court full of hot zones that anyone can obtain just by playing against the CPU on rookie difficulty.

Both of these badges have been unlocked by numerous people.

True true...I have HOF for all the LDD badges...but one thing I am noticing is that the Chase Down Artist badge doesn't seem to work correctly. I'm guessing that is should speed up your player in a defensive transition situation but it doesn't seem to give any boost to the block on the opposing player.

Can anyone confirm?

I don't get 15 minute restriction but I do get the L sometimes. If I lag out at the end of the game when it's about to show Player of The Game I get an L also. Its crazy smh.
