Re: NBA 2k17 - Post your face scans here
With that being said here's my face to scan comparison

A couple things I took rom the scan:
• it doesn't recognize eyes as well as it should (for me at least. I have a notorious grumpy face so that's why it finally resembles me)
• go slow.
• blast light in your face however you want to do so.
• your chin needs to be upward and face somewhat away from the circle because when the apply your face it automatically gets pushed down for some reason. That's why we been seeing so many double nose lips etc.
• u have to go tweak it some more and I promise it worth it.

Re: NBA 2k17 - Post your face scans here
Not the most spot-on scan, but the best of myself that I've done. Doesn't really have my head shape due to 2K limitations, but I'm satisfied...though in-game I look like "Crazy Eyes" brother from "Orange Is The New Black". Lol

Re: NBA 2k17 - Post your face scans here
I tried at least 30 times today and finally got an okay scan. But, it has a light spot on my face and a notch on the corner of my mouth. Does anyone know if if try to rescan again for a better scan will it override it if I don't save it? Also I've noticed androids just have a hard time with the scans and my iPad and iPhone 6s worked a lot better. Also natural light will yield way more reference points, but I found using lamps gave me the best results even with less reference points. Natural light I was getting 11k versus like 6k...Comment

I have a bunch of professional photography lights. I'm getting to the point I'm about to set up my studio and see if that can get me a good scan. Problem is my tablet won't work with the app :/ so I gotta wait until I can use my buddies phoneFollow me on IG: select_model_studiosComment

Re: NBA 2k17 - Post your face scans here
Go outside but not directly into the sun. Ideally it would be overcast. Good, white daylight. No shadows on your face. Use your front facing camera, using the rear is not necessary. Turn your head slowly.Comment

This is exactly right. It was overcast, no bright sun. I don’t think you need/want to blast your face with indoor artificial light or you will get glare. Also, make 100% sure that your camera is straight ahead from your eyes. I got a few failed until I realized my camera was slightly lower than my eyes.Comment

Facial hair comes out super light on the scan. I don’t think you can avoid using the preset unfortunately. But maybe I’m wrong.Comment
