Not exactly in the game. Hawktastic's focus is on newer sneakers. Unless it's a truly iconic shoe, or if the shoe company requests it, I doubt newly released retros will show up in game.

Well, when you think about it, not a lot of players rock retros during games. A select few like PJ Tucker + the Morris twins, yeah, but most players wear newer stuff. The tech's better, plain and simple.

yeah because the reebok rafter mid was TRULY ICONIC

classic teams themselves are iconic and shouldn't be neglected any more than new teams, i kind of understand where people are coming from but devs gotta realize the importance of classic teams, don't just half *** them if your going to do something at all, do it right

ok but David Robinson wore them a lot

they got some of the best players in NBA history runnin around shoeless and to me that's unacceptable

Who are we to say which kicks should go in the game? It's 2K and the shoe companies that have a contract, and it's most likely the shoe companies in the game that decide which kicks go in the game. The Rafter Mid might not be as iconic as, say...the Air Max Uptempo, but, in some way, it kinda had a rep back in the day because Dee Brown and Sam Cassell rocked it.

I hear ya, but, really, who's David Robinson compared to a guy like MJ, right? Not to belittle his accomplishments, but even if The Admiral is a top 50 player of all time, he never really sold kicks, thus the image of a shoe being iconic won't stick for the regular 2K consumer who doesn't care much for kicks, unlike people in this thread who would want realism. Big men kicks rarely sell well. Name me a big man, aside from Shaq, who sold kicks at a high level. No one in recent memory has done so. Dee Brown has notoriety because of his Dunk Contest win back then, and even if the Rafter Mids weren't what he wore when he won it, the shoe still sticks in the memory of some people. Trust me, I feel you when you say you want retros. I want the Air Pippen in its OG form. I want the Air Force Max scanned in. I want the Shake Ndestrukt so Rodman for the 95-96 Bulls can look right, but it's not likely to go in-game.

While your right IRL, tech has not much to do with aesthetics in the game. I would put the retro's on my player so I can rock them in the game like I do outside the game.

There are some retro's in the game already, and they should keep the shoes updated. That's all I'm asking for.
