Really miss the old sig size ups. Just feels like a game of stick mashing now.
Did you get a chance to watch the video. From my perspective I would have never been able to replicate those moves or their effectiveness in years past. I feel so much more freedom and control with way more options for exploding out of moves. Last years size ups usually only had 1 or 2 spots where you could branch out of them and many even when hitting those spots would not be explosive or effective to the point of being useless. That is why everyone used the Crawford hesi escape.
What we still have to realize is that it is not true 1-1, it is still animation based that require timing to pull off the most effective stuff. If you stick mash your effectiveness will decrease dramatically unless you get a lucky ankle breaker animation. I think if you invest the time into it and play around with the timing and branching aspects you will have a better appreciation for the system. Hint: Use the escape dribbles and the non right stick turbo cross.

ive been seeing people post and complain about the new dribble and stick mechanics. I am bumping this because the 2k team did a great job this year giving us more control then ever before and it is absurd to think the previous system was better. 2k deservs a lot of credit for the work that went into player control this year.
