Re: NBA 2K17 Pre-Release Impressions Thread
- defense feels much better. You now can set "No Help" to keep your guys from wandering
- The shot meter is much MUCH better and easier to get the hang of.
- The skip pass is hell of weapon. Much better than the overhead pass last year
I'm playing on HOF right now and if feels like a fair fight so far
- sadly CAP players signature skills still arent randomized. I still have to go in a change the Kareem Abdul Jabbar free throw and everything else. Now a big deal but still.
- The mass roster/draft class editor is what I expected. I can live with itComment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pre-Release Impressions Thread
How is the Block Shots? i felt in the prelude it was difficult to block shots, or jumping up vertical the defenders still got all shots off.
Small sample size by me, maybe im just used to the old 2k's with alot of block shots lol. But im wodnering if i play with Whiteside will he be effectiveComment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pre-Release Impressions Thread
Played a game as the Thunder vs the Warriors before I go to bed. Was not a good idea to start on superstar, I got absolutely pasted 67-35. Durant just destroyed me and they seemed to blow up everything I tried to do on offense. Didn't feel cheap at all though, I kind of just feel like I got beat. They really punished my lapses and me not taking care of the ball, plus the Thunder's lack of spacing.

Plays great. Heard zero new audio, all the sounds at Quicken Loans were the same as last year. Looks fantastic. Hate the new substitution menu. Love the crowd noise. When streaming using on board PS4 (assume same with XB1), 2K mutes all audio like 2K14 I believe which is really disappointing.

- playing against the CPU on HOF : The CPU will come down and shoot transitions three pointers on you, and keep doing it unless you do something about it defensively.Comment

Love the gameplay so far, very responsive and challenging, you're never watching an animation play out.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Pre-Release Impressions Thread
Have the say, the new lighting is amazing. The skin tones and the court are so much more realistic, I love it.
The players seem a lot smaller now , which makes the rebounding and dunking more enjoyable.
Stealing is fun and rebounding is very nice.
I feel control on both sides of the ball and I've barley played a full game.
ALready better than 2k16.Comment
