Practice for the controls, then practice for the plays. Then My League with the Spurs.

Probably a rhetorical question, but are you going to miss Timmy this year on 2K (at least for MyLeague)?

Offline quick match with legend teams, then myleague with the 96 Bulls.

Wash....rinse....repeat......until 2k18.

I also start with legends, usually Im the Russell Celtics vs West Lakers, or Birds Celtics vs either 85 Bulls, Hawks, or 86 Lakers. Then I will play with the Euro teams, especially this yr with the Aussie National team being in, I will use them, because of Ryan Broekhoff, my wife and I were season ticket holders at Valpo until my pain became to much for me to sit thru games, so I watch this kid from his freshmen yr thru his senior yr, big fan of his. So I look forward to playing with him, I think eventually he will get his shot with a NBA team.

Once patches come out and Rosters have all players put in the game, along with probably a lot of editing to fix what 2k messes up with ratings and tendencies I will start a Pacers MyLeague with 30 team control, but I only play with the Pacers, I just use 30 team control to make sure the AI doesnt do anything stupid in roster moves or lineups.

If MyGM is improved and finally actually playable and the AI makes smarter decisions, then I will also play a MyGM with the Pacers too.

MyLeague...rebranding/downloading knicks msg court. Checking out commentary and presentation for key games, for example GSW at OKC to see how the commentary and the crowd reacts [ boo durant?]. Also, checking out playoff atmosphere.

Testing free agency see where players land and for how much money.

Going to hit practice mode to work on plays, and have a look at the new interface for that. Then, once I feel comfortable, I'm going to Play Now Online. Probably going to practice with a few different teams to decide which I want to start with online. Going to start with the Bulls, but the Blazers, Rockets, Suns and Wolves are all options.

Was going to do an expansion team but changed my mind and going to run with my Pacers.

I think the Rockets will be a surprisingly solid 2K team this year. They have a lot of 3 point shooting and solid defense at the 1 and 3.

Freestyle practice mode with Vince Carter current then retro... As always. Check out the physics and new moves.. try a few other players.

Then hit online head 2 head or vs friends for endless hours.

Maybe dabble in Ultimate Team

I'll probably head into practice mode and see how Ben Simmons & Brandon Ingram handle... Run a quick Hall of Fame game vs the CPU with a terrible team facing the Warriors.


Then I'll probably run 2 or 3 PNO games... I've gotta get back to that Hall of Fame level online. Might exclusively run with the Pelicans and/or Sixers this year.

Maybe League around beginning of season, like someone said

...I remember in 2k16 I saw Porzingis was listed at 7'1 at launch and was updated to 7'3 later on. I got drafted to the Knicks after he was updated, which was great.
