I play park regularly and I don't see a big deal with the same parks. They are making additions to the mode with mypark dark and added tons of animation, clothes, and accessories to the mode. New parks every year could be taxing on the developers and it's simpler to build a new park every other year. That would allow for better development and improvements. My only gripe is letting the parks have more lighting. I play OTF and I despise the darkness being that people often play at the park in real life during daylight

Smh its comments like this that lets me know some ppl have no idea what's going on. The art team does not work on the gameplay. And to add to that did you play the prelude? Did you see the new gear they added? Did you see all the dances they added?

How is it okay for them to keep the same exact parks in one of the games biggest modes? It's like COD coming out with the same map packs 2 years in a row but with new guns and taunts.

Its not the same. In COD you are fighting in different locations and they have had some of the same maps in different years. Sunset Beach is still in Sunset Beach. Now maybe they could add a new park to rep every once in a while but why should the existing ones change? I was annoyed they changed them to put water parks aquariums and all that in last year.

i have the game. there was a 7 gig update when i installed last night. if nothing is in there then GG and yes the parks do look like that so GG

I just wanted a more street atmosphere. For some guys the crowd is an important factor for immersion, for others the audio. For me a more realistic court in MyPark is important.

It's a shame that even ps2 games had better courts in my opinion.

there were VERY few things that Live's pro am did better at executing than 2k's and the addition of real parks was one of them.

personally i liked the parks from 15 better - 16 was bit TOO much, but hey its the arcade mode, so no biggie. if pro am didnt grab me i would still be in the park

I don't consider views in the background that I can't interact with new content. And logically game wise, it makes no sense that the parks would change from 1 week to the next. Are they going to build a water park around rucker park in a week? I was more interested in adding the 4 v 4, the squad spots, the loss of the rec center, etc as far as changes last year. I don't care if theres a new water slide in the background.

Wow, I'm shocked. In New Zealand the game is already out (it's 9/16 there), and there is no Day 1 patch to change up the parks!

After we all thought they were hiding the parks for the reveal today, and that they were going to patch in the real parks on Day 1, that looks to be simply not true. So is the big MyPark reveal today just supposed to be about MyPark After Dark?

We have the same damn parks as last year.

It's not like there are 20 people working on all aspects of the game. You know that 2Ksports has different teams for different aspects.

Doesn't change anything - game budget has too have priorities. Regardless of teams the budget determines the improvements made. Just because there are different teams doesn't mean they all get unlimited resources to work with. It's all about priorities in a yearly cycle. Comment above as well.
