Personally, I'd leave it at 7-8. If you restrict it to 10 or 11, I think most of the expansion teams would have just 1 or 2 players over 70 overall. I'm not sure you'd have a deep enough pool of players to choose from.

      Re: **2K17 - How's your MyLeague/MyGM going?**

I have a MyGm with the Celtics. Signed Jack at the start of the season to give me a more reliable backup PG than Rozier.

I was 9-2 when Horford went down for 6-8 weeks. Signed JJ Hickson to bring a solid rebounder in. Him and Kelly O will hopefully try and fill the shoes of Al. Also lost Thomas for 2 weeks so Jack and Smart will split time until he gets back. Managed to beat Golden State without Al or IT! They jacked 41 theees (most contested) so no wonder they lost. Then lost 2 straight against the Pistons and Wolves to make my record 10-4. Struggling to find a groove without my 2 stars.

I am looking into a couple deals for later in the season. The Bucks are asking for Avery Bradley so I might strike a bigger deal later involving Middleton. Also, I would like to grab a more offensive PF. I really have my eyes on Randolph from Memphis. Time will tell what I end up doing.

        Re: **2K17 - How's your MyLeague/MyGM going?**

Started a test MyLeague (using TMF's myleague settings) just to try out dsj's progression and potential theory , and also to see what that specific method would do to giannis. After simulating 2 or 3 years i got my answer. The progression looked good and unpredictable, and it made greek freak even more of a freak! Even though i simulated it i thought id share what happened. Basically the starting five was Ty Lawson, Middleton, Giannis, Parker, and Henson, with Iguodala, Monroe, and Thomas Robinson the first three off the bench. Ive played one game with them so far and its easily the most fun team I've played with in a 2K game. Giannis was rated a 92 and could flat out ball. Inside the arc he couldnt miss (A- close and mid range) and could hit the 3 ball too (C 3pt rating but i think his open 3 rating was better.) Then Jabari and Middleton could shoot well, and with everyone else they were rated #3 in the NBA in my save. Plus Doc Rivers was the coach!

Ill be starting my real MyLeague once the SimWorld project is up. Probably will run with the Bucks but not sure yet.

So I'm thinking of starting this new thing where I run 2 myLeague's, 1 representing the NBA & the other the NCAA. I'll upload draft classes into the NCAA first....sim a season allowing players to go through their own storylines. Once I get the results from progression I'll edit that same class and load it into my NBA myLeague. I may even make this a YouTube series and using fictional classes after 2019 or so, or good quality draft classes I can find from the community on Xbox One (there really aren't many that I see). Anyone else bought about doing something similar to this?

To 2k's credit, The Pistons in myleague play just like the real life ones. I am currently 12-12 and I either get blown out or win big. It's kind of uncanny.

My first season is starting to come to an end, Russ has upheld his triple double average, Andre Drummond has emerged as an offensive beasts. Sadly not in the MIP race at all, neither are guys like Barnes or Booker, a bunch of random guys, some with stats that have actually gotten worse if I checked correctly, DPOY also seems to have a weird algorithim to it. Other than those, running very smoothly, enjoying things, lots of streaks, both wins and losses across the league, tight race for 8th in the East and middle of the West is all over the place.

I am starting a new MyLeague (or MyGM) with my own custom sliders. I've been playing a few Exhibition games with my custom Nets roster. I am not a fan of the current Nets roster, but I may make changes before I actually start franchise.

My exhibition Nets roster look like this (might look familiar):
PG: Deron Williams, Grevis Vasquez, Isaiah Whitehead
SG: Joe Johnson, Caris LeVert, Alan Anderson
SF: Paul Pierce, Bojan Bogdanovic, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
PF: Kevin Garnett, Trevor Booker, Chris McCullough
                  C: Brook Lopez, Andrea Bargnani

I am going to make a roster like that with similar players, keeping Deron Williams. I am rebranding the Brooklyn Nets to be New Jersey Nets.

I started a MyLeague with the Orlando Magic. I planned to play every game until I got bored. Haven't played too much 2k this year, but in previous years I didn't find too much difficulty in playing the CPU. This year is quite different. Poke's sliders are a great challenge.

I started out 4-2, and following a 35 point blowout of the 76ers, I feared that I had again found the recipe for success; I thought the challenge was gone. Boy, was I wrong.

Nikola Vucevic had an injury that would sideline him for about two weeks. The only other competent "Center" on the roster was Biyombo. Well, he's no Vuc. Everything fell apart. We've currently lost 4 in a row, all by more than 15 points. It's killing me mentally. My first two losses were only by a point, and now here I am getting blown out consistently. Surely the loss of Vuc contributed to this, but my play has been horrible as well. It's killing me.

Im finally starting my mygm - wasnt sure who i would run with but after watching the highlights of the magic vs knicks - i will be running with the magic - really intrigued by the team dynamic they have. Alot of lengthy athletic guys with some range out to the 3pt line. will update after i run a few games i do plan on playing all the games - this is big on my to do list as i have never finished a mygm since its creation so im very amped to complete this.

Man, I am having a tough time not just simming through my first season of my Expansion MyLeague. My team truly is terrible, and at times it's no fun. I played the first game against the Sixers, lost, then simmed the next 5 games. All of which we lost by 10+ points. Then I simmed the season. I'll probably just restart it yet again the next time I hop on. At least my play today Jazz MyLeague is fun ‪¯\_(ツ)_/¯‬

I just created a custom European leave. Using some of the Euroleage teams, mixed with custom teams. One thing that is bugging me however, is that I want to use a multicolored basketball that fits my leagues colors. I bought a colored ball in the auction, but can't figure out how to use it in my league, or in any other mode for that matter. Is there any way I can do this? It's a really small detail but I really want a custom ball.

The playoffs are over in my Timberwolves MyLeague. Here are the final standings for the west:
                              Warriors: 67-15
                              Spurs: 52-30
                              Grizzlies: 51-31
                              Trail Blazers: 49-33
                              Thunder: 47-35
                              Clippers: 47-35
                              Timberwolves: 44-38
                              Rockets: 43-39

                              Here are the awards:
                              MVP: Lebron James
                              ROY: Brandon Ingram
Sixth Man Of The Year: Brandon Knight
                              DOY: Lebron James
                              Most Improved Player: Jeremy Lin
                              COY: Steve Kerr
KAT made the All NBA second team.
Kris Dunn made the All Rookie first team.

On the last day of the regular season we battled the Rockets head to head to decide who would get the 7th seed and who would be stuck with the 8th. We came out on top winning 140-125 despite Harden dropping 39PTS. It basically decided who would go to GS (Rockets) and who would go to San Antonio (us). Both places you don't want to go but some team has too. Warriors ended up taking out Houston 4-2 without Durant as he was out for the series.

We faced off against the Spurs in round 1 with them having home court advantage but their was an advantageous twist. No Aldridge as he was out for the entire playoffs so they were as vulnerable as ever this season. We still lost. They took the first one at home which we responded to with a win of our own next game. We then went back to Minnesota and got ourselves a blowout win at home to go up 2-1. We followed that up with another win to give ourselves all the momentum and control of the series with a 3-1 lead. We then proceeded to blow said 3-1 lead by losing 3 straight. They blew us out at the AT&T Center to make it 3-2. They beat us again to tie it up and force game 7. In Game 7 we lost 103-104 and were eliminated. Still beyond my year 1 expectations though. Didn't expect to take a team like the Spurs (even an Aldrigeless one) the distance and come within a single basket of knocking them out so still a somewhat successful season. The goal for next year is definitely to make it past the first round.

The finals matchup ended up being Warriors Vs Cavaliers 3. Yep, Warriors vs Cavs again for the third year in a row. The Warriors took their revenge on Cleveland winning the Finals 4-2. Warriors are champs once again. Steph Curry was the Finals MVP. Durant only played 14 mins during the final game as tore his left ACL mid game.

Well that's it for year 1. I'll update again after the offseason.
