Other wise i would offer something like Leonard and Vonleh for Bogut and a future 1st (lottery protected) or an 2nd this year.

I think that's no where near enough for Ibaka, not when you consider they traded Oladipo + Ilyasova + the 11th overall pick for him. IMO it would take Harkless + 1st round pick (top 10 protected) + fillers (maybe Vonleh + Napier). Just spitballing. Ibaka's trade value is pretty high.

As for the Bogut deal, I think Leonard + Vonleh for Bogut + 2nd could work.

I think that you're right about ZBo. He would be a nice addition, but since Memphis is a top seed in the West, then they're not likely to move him.

      1) What does Ibaka say about re-signing? If he's not interested, then I think he shouldn't be that tough to get. Maybe add Olynyk to the deal that you proposed because he should fit nicely with Gordon and Biyombo.

      2) Monroe shouldn't be that difficult to trade. I know that the Bucks couldn't give him away in the offseason. If he accepts his player option, then he will screw up your chance at getting a much better player in the 17 offseason.

      3) Both players should be attainable, it just depends on which ones playstyle you like better. Personally, I'd prefer Noel, but if you trade for him, then you're going to have to pay him in the 17 offseason. Okafor has an extra two years, but he's not the defensive player or rebounder that Noel is, so that's something for you to consider. I do think you will have to give up more than what you've suggested. I think Bradley would have to go, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks man, the more i think about it i will probably go with Bogut. Gets me outta the Leonard Contract and also gets me a defensive Big that can help out with Plumlee.

So driving home from work i came up with this trade idea.

POR Receive: Nerlens Noel, Nick Stauskas

PHI Receive: Will Barton, Shabazz Napier, Cavs 2018 Pick (Top 10 Protected)

Didn't know you had Barton. That trades not bad considering 76ers have a surplus of bigs and are in need of a scoring wing.

Do you have any ideas on young bigs on bad teams like Nurkic in Denver, Capela in Houston? The last two are set to be free agents in the offseason. Both are undecided on returning to their teams, but Capela is hinting at returning while Nurkic sounds like he wants to test free agency.

Other than that I could take the "go big or go home" route and try for Cousins or Marc Gasol. Both players teams are essentially done for the season. Cousins wants to test free agency and Gasol has two years left with a player option for a third year. I think I could do a package of Bradley, Crowder/Brown and Olynyk, plus picks for either player. However, I don't think I would move the 18 Brooklyn pick for either. My 18, my 19 and the Grizzlies 19 1st (top 5 protected) and the Clippers 19 1st (lottery protected) would be on the table, though.

I like the idea of the Nurkic -- he always seems to make a fuss about his playing time in Denver next to Jokic (and, as seeing Jokic is better, he rightly gets less playing time) but the kid is a true center, a big-bruiser type. I could see Denver parting ways with him for a 1st and some veteran leadership.

                Other places to look:

Utah and Derrick Favors (he's more a 5 than a 4 in my opinion and would operate well out of the post as Horford moves around).

Phoenix and Alex Len (he doesn't seem to be developing for them and might have already hit his ceiling, I could see Phoenix trading him for a pick + assets to bolster their playoff odds).

Bucks and Greg Monroe (again, Monroe feels more a 5 than a 4 in today's league and the Bucks would give him away for a second and maybe a James Young/Tyler Zeller).
                Any comments are welcome.

Thanks a lot. I am leaning towards Ibaka. He won't resign and the magic are last. Olynyk, Rozier and a 1st? I am leaning towards Okafor. Maybe Brown instead of Bradley + Zeller + Rozier and a draft pick for Okafor + scrub fillers?

EDIT: I have a agreed to a Boxing Day deal. The magic requested Zeller, Jerebko, a top 5 protected Memphis 1st in 2019 and a second rounder this year. Zeller was playing well and has a team option will step up right away. Jerebko was also a solid bench option this year. The picks help a magic team who are last in the league and rebuilding. Ibaka is likely to walk this offseason but the Celtics turn to a competitor for the title with Horford set to return next week from injury! Couldn't add Olynyk because I remember I just signed him to an extension and that would be unrealistic. I was debating giving them another 1st instead of the second so if you guys think that's better then I will do that.

In the end i gave up 2019 1st (top 5 protected) Jordan Clarkson, Tarik black and 2020 unprotected second for Brook Lopez and Randy Foye.

My final move that would make me satisfied with my roster would be getting a solid 2 guard that is atleast a really solid defender. In order to get that i would like to get rid of Lou Will or Nick Young in some combination. Will Barton really is someone i would love to get since nuggets are stacked there but i don't think i have enough to offer cause they are looking for a good starting point guard and i don't really have that sort of a player to give away. Wade Baldwin caught my eye but he is more of a prospect while i would like to get someone who can contribute right away. Can you guys think of some sort of a trade that would be close to what i have described? Thanks in advance

Tony Allen was the first guy that came to mind. I don't think his trade value is very high so maybe like Lou or Young and a 2nd rounder? Idk if Allen has much more value than that anymore since he's getting older and can't score.

Maybe Deng to the Spurs for Jonathan Simmons? I think he has decent D in game and when I've used him I've liked him.

Last one I can think of is Courtney Lee from NY. No idea his trade value though, but I can't imagine it's very high.

I'm starting a new MyGM expansion tonight (starting in regular season) and plan to eventually trade for Kelly Oubre from the Wizards. Do you think realistically they would trade him off if they got the right offer?

If so, what positions would Wizards want in return/ as well as picks?

So I think I found a good deal for both teams...

Celtics Receive: Jusuf Nurkic, Will Barton

Nuggets Receive: Tyler Zeller, Demetrius Jackson, James Young, 2017 Cavaliers 2nd Round Pick

The Celtics get their true defensive center and a wing scorer, while only giving up spare parts. The Nuggets get a young point guard on an affordable contract that they can develop into a decent backup, and an affordable backup center.

I was going to go with Gary Harris, but that seems to unrealistic because the Nuggets I believe view him as a building piece?

Too little? Too much? Good? Thoughts?

I'm willing to give up anything but Thomas, Horford, Brown, and I would prefer to keep Bradley and Crowder and the Nets pick, but depending who it's for, I will consider.

For centers, I've targeted Tyson Chandler, Jusuf Nurkic, Andrew Bogut and Willie Cauley-Stein. I also have targeted Okafor and Cousins in bigger trades, which I'd be willing to do.

I'm a Sixer fan and I would make that deal all day. Two picks for Okafor and I get a guard? And I can move those extra pieces for possibly some shooting? Breh, I wish the Celtics offered that in real life.

Too little? Too much? Good? Thoughts?

I would have thought a 1st rounder would have to be included to get Nurkic and Barton. Prob a lottery or top 10 protected along with the pieces you mentioned. Good framework though you are onto something here.
