I can confirm that performance does not affect progression or regression. I have tested it multiple times. the progression and regression is default meaning for everyone using auto progression, your leagues player overalls will be identical no matter what. hope that helped all you other admins.

another bit of advice relating to auto progression is, make sure even if you are going to manually progress and regress player based off performance/age etc. you must still leave progression on auto. if you do not leave progression on auto, the off season draft will not include rookies from rookie draft classes, it will just include non keepers aka free agents.

so leave keepers and progression on, you can use quick edit to undo the auto progressions and regressions as I did after our regular season concluded. its easy because the green or red arrows show you what increased/decreased.

I am not sure this is correct. I did a test league and young players with high potential ratings saw jumps in their progressions. Players in their prime ( age 24-29) largely remained the same. and Older players either retired or dropped slightly. I am not sure why you are saying that progressions don't occur and stay the same. That is misinformation. I was simply asking if anyone can confirm that players in-season performance also affects the progressions. My league is still in the playoffs so we will just go with what 2k generates for progressions and regressions after we advance the league and see if in season performance is an additional driver to progressions, because I know for a fact that players like Ben Simmons jump fro a 79 to a 82 and also gain badges during progressions.

I will report back my findings when I get there. I am hoping the patch did some under the hood things for MLO that weren't announced in the patch notes.

So a couple of other test results:
Draft classes save, sort of.... one thing I noticed is the College definitely changes. Giles went from Duke to Dayton lol...Not sure when it happens as I just import class, sim season then test draft. I will have to double check if ratings adjust.

Random keeper years is actually random now. You can also switch it mid season which is kinda nice. We started as a 2 year but I don't want the whole lg on a 2 yr deal. It will be a true random 2-5 yrs. So we can probably close that issue.

Progression: I'm still in my offseason draft, but another guy testing it said players progress after the draft. Said Ben Simmons went from 79-82 in one offseason. Maybe could get a little more progression, but that might be nitpicking. I will have to doublecheck myself but that is good news.

Swim, can you check back in with us on how progressions went during the offseason in your league? Based on your post above, it seems progressions worked for and am curious if you changed any sliders to achieve optimum progressions.

I think you misunderstood my post. I didn't say progressions didn't occur. I simply said performance has nothing to do with how much a player progresses or regresses. Yes ben simmons does go up to an 82 ovr, but he goes to an 82 overall in every other league regardless of how good or bad he performed which is very unrealistic.

I figured it out last night maybe most have already figured it out but it's good to put it in here. Sliders always change to custom. Yes you heard me right.

If you put your sliders to Hof or Superstar or smt else they always change to 'Custom' which means if you happen to have a different custom than default Hof/Superstar/All-Star etc dont assume that choosing those default will stat in put, it'll change to custom.

The solution: Whatever you want to set your sliders for your league first adjust to that fe. HOF and then change one input and get it back to the ideal and then you'll have custom again but this time it will always stay as Hof custom you set.

I hope that i'm clear about.

Anyone else seeing forced injuries whether the injury setting is turned off or on? Is this a glitch or by design?

Yea think the way to go is to turn em on and put slider at 0 and then turn them off and the 0 slider will still be there, I havent seen any injuries since but its in a small sample size

Any1 been having issues with playbooks not saving?

Ive had to put in my playbook 3 times and its only been happening since within the last week or so
