Re: Official NBA 2K17 Badge Thread
Damn, I feel for you man.
It might be that the transition defense isn't coming up in the top right but your team stops the fastbreak so your stat will show 54/75 but your transition defense might be at 40 something.Football: Manchester United
MLB: Cleveland Indians
NBA: Miami Heat

Re: Official NBA 2K17 Badge Thread
actually im getting so many of that transition defense thing, that i started to think its more related to "stopped a fastbreak" teamate grade that you get after that "good defense transition". ill keep trying, i might trade to the spurs, raprots defense is just awfull..Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K17 Badge Thread
Anyone else surprised at the difference in level of difficulty for the HOF badges between different archetypes?
I feel for you guys with defensive archetypes cause at least 2 of those badges (stopper and chase down) are damn hard to get, let alone to HOF.
I finished my grind a couple days ago with my glass cleaner, got all 5 HOF badges and about 16 other performance badges on bronze. Tbh the HOF badges all take a pretty long time, but HOF hustle rebounder is legitimately difficult lol
I went and made a 2nd player, a playmaker pg. I'm surprised at how easy these badges are to get (on rookie like most people do for badge grinds). I'm 5 games in, and on track to get bronze (upgradeable to gold) dimer and ankle breaker by the end of game 8. Then 20-24 more games to get both on HOF depending on how much my assist rate increases with gold dimer. I don't remember how many PnR you need for that playmaker badge but PnR is pretty easy to do on rookie. Lob passer is a breeze using Justice but you can also combo it at the same time as your PnR attempts. And flashy passer...one game just passing back and forth with Justice, 3-4 times per possession. So 4 games to HOF
And the shooter badges, omg. Let's put it this way, I got 4 out of the 5 shooter badges (on bronze obviously) with my glass cleaner C. 34 3pt shot and 50 Midrange and I got both deadeye badges, Catch and shoot, Limitless range, and somehow didn't unlock corner specialist even though I made over 100 corner 3's with him lol
I get that Defensive Stopper is supposed to be the most powerful HOF badge and I gotta say HOF rebounder and HOF brick wall are pretty good too. I just don't see why 2k made some archetypes have to work SO much harder for their badges lol
Just what I've noticed lolComment

Re: Official NBA 2K17 Badge Thread
im a slasher and you should also feel sorry for me, our hall of fame badges are fking worthless.. maybe hof posterizer lets you finish on shorter players when you are under the basket and perhapes tear dropper, but the rest? im scared finishing at the rim becuase i dont want to miss a simple easy contact layup
With posterizer, you don't even need to finish any contact dunks. You just need to get a contact animation. And tear dropper...i randomly got tear dropper with my glass cleaner on a regular jump shot in transition. I never even tried to do a floater/teardrop lol. Bronze Acrobat is under 30 reverse layups/euros so HOF is under 120. That's nothing lol. Fast break is also easy to get. Yes these badges may be less useful but they're easy to get. My glass cleaner has every single one except Acrobat lol
It's hard to argue that defensive archetypes have a hell of a time getting badges compared to others. And tbh, the 400 offensive rebounds that make up part of hof hustle rebounder take a long time AND have to be done on a higher difficulty. On rookie, your teammates probably won't miss enough. Plus the 1200 defensive rebounds lolComment

Re: Official NBA 2K17 Badge Thread
HOF defensive stopper doesn't mean nobody can get around you. It's not unstoppable. Same way that I cant get every board with hof hustle rebounder. It's just a boost. I can't expect nobody to ever get a rebound over me lolComment

HoF pick dodger hasn't really made a difference for me (or maybe I suck with it) as the contact animations on the game suck balls right now anyway.Football: Manchester United

Re: Official NBA 2K17 Badge Thread
I know but when you put in the work for HoF defensive stopper, HoF pick pocket & HoF pick dodger and then in park they don't matter too much so it feels worthless.
