it's a little late for considerations now, but some things i'd like to see:

***improved half court and transition defense.***

improved fast break ai.

a first step badge.

a triple threat badge measuring how deceptive a player can be.

better tendencies & tuned working tendencies for the cpu.

a wider array of post moves.

improved player movement and reduced clunkiness. this is the clunkiest, most delayed-input game i've ever played and that's odd for a sports game.

signature moves for superstars.

reggie's pacers and barkley's suns with additional recent (last ten or so years) classic teams like the warriors, spurs, thunder, mavs, etc.

and last but def not least, a finely tuned and tested game.

I just want to be able to skip those stupid shot charts or splits of 2 point FG and 3 point FG %'s during dead balls.

Those ****ing ruin my momentum.

I hope they get rid of green releases and go for a more character based success/miss ratio. Good timing should help, but not lead to unrealistic %.

Go for more realism all around. Better physics.

And the AI needs to improve ten fold.

I would love to see the ability to choose how you play a pick and roll situation defensively, specifically my career/pro am/park or when controlling the defensive player on these situations in other modes. Using the pro stick, I should be able to decide if I want to go over the top of a screen, without being sucked into it, or if I want to go under a screen.

Also, I believe Brick Wall should be nerfed, while pick dodger should be made stronger, if badges make a return.

Always had a problem with the speed in the current & previous games. Players do not move fast enough in my opinion. It's really difficult to chase down a rolling ball. Big men like some centers & forwards can barely run down the court on a fast break. I feel like they never get enough credit for their speed.

• Better optimization for the PC version
• Easier way to get badges, I hate the grind of creating a new player just to badge up, just let us pay for them with VC from the jump.

I wish they would launch European servers so we do not have to always play with lag.

This!!!! Sort it out 2K. Bad enough we get screwed on locker codes, at least allow us decent online gameplay!

If 2K don't care about regular updates to rosters, I'll just depend on the community.

Since I'm primarily on MyPlayer:

1. No ratings caps. I understand why they do that for MyPark, but have some formula in place that translates your ratings to max MyPark ratings dependent on the different variables you select (Position, type of player at that position, height, weight, etc.) like they have. If I want to be a beast in single-player MyPlayer, I should be able to max out.

2. Smarter coaching AI. If I'm a SF and join the Bucks, move me or Giannis to SG or SF, no reason to bring Giannis off the bench just because there's a positional problem.

3. Custom rosters or in-MyPlayer trading. I'm not sure if the first one is already available, but it would be nice to use custom rosters in MyPlayer just like you can in any other game mode. Or give us the options to have the same trade logic like the other game modes so that we can keep updated rosters without having to restart our mode.

4. The ability to talk to different players/coaches. Maybe it can be something you unlock once they invite you somewhere, but I did like the ability in previous versions where you could message other players (convince them to form a big 3, etc.) or go talk to the coach about more playing time or talk to the GM about going trade for certain players the more they trust you

5. Better off-season. I finally got to my first one (I play every game), and it's just awful that the only roster I can look at is the team they had last year, only to find out they got rid of a star player or two after I join the team. Thankfully I had the file saved on my cloud as well, so I was able to reload it. Have the option to convince the coach to go after a certain player in the draft, which should also be an option to use custom draft classes (that may be an option at the start but I forget)

I hope it's not too late, but one thing that I disliked in 2K17, being a Cavs fan, is the fact that their away jerseys (primary and secondary) were too bright. The wine (primary) and navy blue (secondary) color should both be darker for each respective jersey. Hopefully that's fixed for 2K18.

This is a mod someone on another forum did; it shows the default color and the modded color next to each other. I think it's from NBA 2K15, but it's pretty much the same as it was in 2K17:
