Re: NBA 2k18 Wish List
Replace your PSN with the name of the actual player online...sometimes its hard to recognize a player immediately depending on your camera.Comment

Re: NBA 2k18 Wish List
A way to tag uploaded images. Last night I spent maybe 45 minutes scrolling through 1200 images chasing down an image that had been low down the "most popular" list the night before and was then no longer available. How great it would be to type in, say, "Seattle SuperSonics" and get all those logos up front.Comment

Re: NBA 2k18 Wish List
My main wish for MyCareer in 2K18 is that it's separated from Park/Pro-Am, changed its story, and we get a full high school/college experience on top of the NBA experience.
So you start out in HS as a 55 OVR, finishes HS and go to college as a 60-ish OVR, and if you played really well, can even be 70-85 OVR in your first/second year and join the NBA early. So depending on how well you played, you can be either a scrub upon joining the NBA (mid/low 60s OVR) or a franchise player (low-mid 80s). And when you get to the NBA, the attribute gains can slow down a lot and I wouldn't mind. Realistically, NBA players don't really get that much better at most things during the season. It's in the offseason that they get a lot better.
What do you think?Comment

Re: NBA 2k18 Wish List
1. ability to refund vc or transfer vc if starting a new mycareer and able to put spent vc on new player
2. stop repetitive commentary of last season especially if player isnt even starting or top player or on the team anymore
3. flexible caps and more towers to make a proper 2 way player
4. separate mycareer from my park and pro am not even one wants to play online
5. ability to refuse to be drafted by a team you dnt wanna play for
6. ability to change mycareer season length 29-56-81
7 make mycareer story ongoing going forward with more branching paths
8. ability for anything u work on in practice to upgrade player by one status ie lifting weights +1
9. fix the help defense still ai team players still miss assignments on defense or leave a shooter wide open helping where it doesnt apply
10. fix passing retool the passing mechanics no more floating passes
11 fix teammate logic on offense throwing directly to the defence ignoring easier pass because its focus on running a play that is broken
12 fix broken commentary especially during timeouts when broadcast team is still talking while coach is also talkingComment

Re: NBA 2k18 Wish List
Stop hiring director's to write bad, MyCareer stories.
Pay the TNT/Commentators/etc.. to write more lines and make them more dynamic. How many years is it going to be until the announcers seem "smart" enough to recognize what is going on?
If you're in the Finals, they should know you're in the Finals and not act like it's just a regular game... simple coding, honestly.Comment

Re: NBA 2k18 Wish List
In typing of team names and other text, it would be nice to have full support for punctuation and, even better, accented characters. We can play our teams in St. Louis and Montréal but can't actually write their names correctly.
Adding reasonable exceptions to the inappropriate-word list. Heaven knows I'm not the only one who wants to share my Phoenix Suns design and can't. Seems like dealing with the S****horpe Problem is very 2008.Comment

Re: NBA 2k18 Wish List
Importing your my player to offline modes ie my league.
-or make face scan available outside of my career.
Search engine for my league designs needs improvement.
Reggie Miller!!!! Its a bball game without one of the greatest shooters of all time
Ability to edit current courts without an entire do over.
Thats it for now havent really had a lot of time for actual gameplay. I'll update this with timeComment

Re: NBA 2k18 Wish List
I'd like for 2K18 MyCareer the following:
You starts at high school, complete a season or two there, then college for up to 4 seasons, and then NBA, gaining attribute points all the way. If you played like ****, you could be a 65-70OVR when entering the NBA aka the role player/scrub guy. If you played like a god and dominated through HS and college, you enter the league as a 80+ player, ready to dominate and be a franchise. Does that sound like fun? To me, hell yea! That's realistic and immersive! That's what, 3-6 seasons of "grinding" to even get to the NBA, but I'll enjoy every minute of it because I'll play against comparable opponents at every step of the way, and it's immersive and allows me to flesh out my player's background and backstory in my mind even more.
You can even change it so that in the NBA, you can't really gain permanent stats during the season, but only temporary buffs. Come the off season and again you can grind it out for better attributes for next season. And during the season you actually get salary/cash from your contract to customise your player. So you can sim through games with simulated stats to get money quickly, at the cost of not adding as much to your leverage come time to resign the contract.
Also, for 2K18, separate park/pro-am from MyCareer, and create a progression system there? You gain attribute points as you play games in the park/pro-am, and can then spend them to improve attributes. But here's the kicker: you are grouped by OVR and can only be match-made to those close to you. For example, starting out you're gonna play only with people 55-65, and then once you got to 66 OVR, you play with people 66-75, etc... This ensures balance, and still allow people who don't have much time to play competitively.Comment

Re: NBA 2k18 Wish List
I want REAL ball physics. The wonderful advancements in the dribbling system have only made it even more frustrating when "yo-yo-ing" happens. Or how I have to be Kyrie Irving making every effort to protect the ball while the CPU is allowed to complete dribble moves off of my body.
Bring bad the non-alley lob. There is no way to get the ball into the post. I understand it was cheese last year but if I am doubled coming off a PnR, I should be able to get the ball to my roll man. Not every big is D Jordan, I shouldn't have to throw Mirza Teletovich an alley oop when he's wide open. Jump passes can be tuned to get the ball over the defense in this scenario.
Bring back skill points in MC. In a mode where the primary focus is to make the best player, you shouldn't be able to buy your way through it. MT is understandable but MC shouldn't be as reliant on VC. Also make badges a progress system. I have to hone my passing skills over 30 games to get dimer but then I go from basic to top tier passer because I paid for it? It should be a grind also maybe with more qualifiers like Assist ratio.
More transparency. I'm tired of this guessing or forum hunting. Tell us what we need to do to get things done. 2KU doesn't do half the job of guys like Sam Pham & Shake.
Playing key games in MC. Holy cow it's my biggest problem with the game. The grind of playing these games is insufferable. Add injuries to where we can be out. Suspensions like when you stuck up for your guy in 2k15 or when you partied all night in 2k14. Those are what makes the mode.
Smart defensive rotation logic. I want to feel accomplished when I beat the CPU on HOF. Not be able to PnR cheese them the whole game because the corner help is too aggressive. Or double teaming me the entire game. I racked up 48 assists all because AI defenders are oblivious to the other 4 guys on my team.
Better crowd reactions. This one sounds super simple because all you have to do is tie certain animations to the crowd. Like when they go ooh during an ankle breaker or during an injury. John Henson, as I'm typing this just caught my miss and windmilled it the crowd and the announcers acted like he did a two hand granny layup. That's nuts. I will admit I seen improvements in the crowd during playoff games in MyLeague but Idc if it's June or October, a windmill tip is gonna wow the building.Comment
