How many of you are using a defensive Archetype?

Please vote to indicate if you use a defensive Archetype or an Offensive Archetype. I'm getting the feeling that most people are staying away from the defensive ones this year due to limitations.

I always preferred defense over offense, mainly for MyCareer but I also play Park quite a bit...Hoping to prove that defense can still be effective...
    I have a 6'5 PG and a 7'3 C.

I started with post scoring PF, but I missed getting emphatic blocks routinely so I made a 6'9" SF lockdown.

I CANNOT USE MY DEFENSIVE ARCHETYPE WITHOUT

      DEFENSIVE ANCHOR AND DEFENSIVE STOPPER

TELL US HOW TO GET THESE BADGES.

-32 badges, HOF rim protect + bruiser + 400 blocks + 600 good shot contests

      ...

those two badges are the entire reason to have the player and nobody has them.

But don't worry. The devs on twitter have time to tell somebody that there's no volume shooter.

Does Glass Cleaner count as defensive?

Not that it matters. I'm not putting one more second into that mode until free-throw upgrades are permanent.

If I want story, I'll just watch Chris Smoove.

Defensive Stopper badge appears to be a mystery right now. I haven't found anything online yet about obtaining this badge. And you're right; it is a bit frustrating because that badge is THE reason to make a lockdown defender this year.

Re: How many of you are using a defensive Archetype?

Glass Cleaner is a defensive archetype as well.

My first is post scorer; I may make a second guy and will probably do a wing defender. I want to make a lot of guys, but I dunno if I'll even complete a first guy. MC is super grindy haha. It's harder for me to play when I know people are playing on rookie and getting better gains, but I have to play on HoF or it's boring.

I still think Glass Cleaner is just better than Paint Protector because of the way 2k works (you don't need a great rating to smash people's shots or get steals, which mostly would be pass steals, imo.) The box out strength and animation does matter, as does finishing ratings.

I would ideally make a PF Glass cleaner as well, but again, already burning out.

Edit: and I am a defensive player, always, I just think LDD is too weak to pick as a main guy.

I've got a 92 PG Sharpshooter (with all HoF badges) and currently working on the one I will enjoy when I can find some information on the defensive stopper badge and that's my 83 LDD.

Anyone knows how to get chasedown artist? I'm a 6'7 sf with 94 block and 77 speed (my max is 80) and in chasedowns I don't get the block even though I'm behind him. It's like cpu is inmune to it. In Mypark is a different story though.

7'1 center defensive.....HOF bruiser...I should have rim protector by today. I have 10 more blocks to go.

give defensive lockdown players defensive anchor and that makes this an actual conversation.

glass cleaners are (logically) killed by great post players.

Which there all of about 3 of in the entirety of the 2K meta.

None of which in the pro-am tournament.

6'1" Lockdown Defender - PG. I haven't got around to it yet, but I normally play Pro-Am. Offensive players have never scared me. You can play good defense as long as you don't believe you should get a steal on every attempt.

                            Just play good positional defense.....

Guys defensive stopper is actually already known how it's obtained - go search on YouTube. I have it. The hardest for me as a pf has been charge card. My last badge actually.
