I actually like them and it's a easy way to differentiate players. I thought they was cool but it seems this year badges is overboard.

I think if 2K made them harder to get and made people actually work for them instead of playing on rookie and earning every badge. They just need to do a better job on how they give them out in MyCareer.

It's like a reward circuit thing, tho. People like seeing it. Just like they like seeing greens.

I do wish they'd make a mode without that nonsense. It wouldn't be too hard for 2k to set up a sim 5 v 5 mode w/ more toned down archetypes that you pick like a fighting game, instead of grinding your dude.

But yea, you're right badges are out of control. When someone says, "even Steph Curry isn't that wet" and someone else comes back with "Steph Curry doesn't have all these BADGES" that's when you know it's out of control.

I just feel like they feel pressure to keep upping the ante for the Park crowd. "Basketball" on the court just isnt enough lol.

          dumb decision.

grand badge has no need and HOF badge should be hard as hell to get....

the best part about the grand badge is AFTER YOU GET IT ONCE YOU GET HOT, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DID TO GET HOT, IT TURNS ON

Its so ******* Stupid to see Sharpshooters GET HOT OFF A BS BLOCK, and now you telling me they can launch it from Half court. How the **** Does that even make sense. And realisticly thats exactly how a MAJORITY of these guys are getting hot. off blocks or steals, AKA things that have NOTHING to do with their selected playstyle.

Imagine Kyle korver getting locked in on offense after he got a random steal off chris paul

Once again the over exaggeration in these replies. Honestly this grand badge isn't really that OP or whatever. It doesn't mean that when you get it you won't miss or anything, because I still miss a lot w/ the grand badge. It's NOT that serious.
