The glitch animation has nothing to do with moving screens being called a foul. It needs to be fixed but can happen with the player just walking down the paint without hitting any kind of screen button. Can't sit and foul players out of proam games from simply walking down into the paint as a big. 2 separate issues imo.

You often see bigs walking through the lane. They also happen to be screening off a defender but it's not actually a screen so can't be called illegal as such.
However, the animation that we are all referring to is clearly a bug in the physics engine. If you watch it closely, the defender will be sliding along the floor and can't get around it.Comment

Seems like YOU are the one not paying attention to the thread. People are saying "just wait for the screener to set up," or "take your thumb of LS when youre holding circle..." The majority of the posts are talking about actual screens with circle, not the glitch animation.Comment

Fwiw there's a tutorial in the 'controls' tab on how to do this. Hold left and right stick towards defender. It's not a glitch, it's literally built into the game to be used and abused. I agree it should be removed, but just funny it's as intended.

If I weren't the one using the screens, I would be upset too. Its kind of BS. I mean the defensive player really has no chance and has to rely on help. Here are some good examples.

Are people really advocating for 2k16 screens? They were so broken and easy to guard. As soon as the screen is set just run into it as the defender ignoring the ball handler and bang, moving screen call. Was useless.Comment

Re: Will something be done about the lack of moving screens being called?
No it wasn't useless. U had to know how to set a good screen and do it with a guy having high strength (balanced or inside types) for a good effectiveness. I played over 800(about 80% winrate) of park games in 2k16 park with illegal screens on and we lived by pick'n'roll situations .
Screens felt really well balanced, you either have skill and communication to use them properly or you simply don't due illegal call or being useless.Last edited by Vroman; 10-06-2016, 03:48 PM.Comment

Weeeeellllll...those are proper screens being set in that video. I can't really argue against those screens. For me, I don't like how the defender is being floored by the screen. On the other hand, it's legit as far as execution goes. You're kinda stuck with selecting your poison. If I weren't the one using the screens, I would be upset too. Its kind of BS.
