    I agree with the OP even though I'm a shot creator, and I also agree that sometimes you need to foul the big, but simply put it's no longer strategy rather its a handicap for the bigs right now because the penalty isn't significant enough.

    I'd punch anyone who fouled me 15 times in a game of 21 in real life.

      It's fair, that's why there's a strength rating, just like they can't guard you at the 3pt line because you have a higher speed rating. You should be allowed to go for a steal, but to spam the button intentionally to get a foul when you know you don't get penalized enough is just ouch.

      Not attacking you btw, just speaking in general.

      I'm a 6'5 sg and if I'm forced to guard a big, I only reach to steal, not foul, unless it's a game-saving possession. I also never go for a block when I'm getting posted up, cause right when you jump you're putting yourself in a worse position. i stay down and use the right stick to contest as best i can to try and force an awkward layup animation. Only attempt to block bigs if you're the help defending or you at least somehow have a running start lol.

        I appreciate the smaller guys agreeing with this post, I understand that you guys can't do much with a C in the post but guess what.. we also can't guard you in the perimeter, the only difference is we can't foul force you on a foul animation when you guys get by us.

        This is extremely frustrating..

          Exactly - I see some guys here saying it's unfair one can't guard the big pfftt - that's the point of archetypes - you knew you couldn't guard him as soon as you made the the choice. That doesn't mean the bigs should get nerfed by no fouls. Everyone has weaknesses - bigs are getting their strength nerfed per say which is not right. Heck nerfed is an understatement - more like useless.

            Instead of kicking people out, here's my suggestion:

            6 foul limit, but every foul after the 6th give the other team 2 free points and the ball back.

            Guaranteed that'd stop the fouls.

              6 fouls is too much. It should be 5 or 4.

                excessive fouling and ball stripping are the biggest faults in mypark. Wish there were more delay between steal animations and not as likely to commit a foul so you'd really have to time it. They promoted better ball security and more skill based stealing this year, but it just got much worse compared to 2k16.

                  ^^ This. Treat the hack attack like flagrant fouls, which they are.


                  The argument isn't against it being a tactic. Smaller players have to foul larger players lest they get dunked on, that happens in real life. The issue is the EXPLOIT, where the guy guarding you has 11 fouls and is still in the game. After 6 fouls, you should "foul out" and be replaced with an AI player in my opinion. For the SF who has to guard a C on MyPark because that's what the other team is using, EXPOSE HIM. You're faster than he is and most likely have a way better 3PT rating. It's hard to play online because people cheese too much. I get that everyone doesn't play realistically but a game designed on realistic sim basketball should have a failsafe for exploits like that.
