You're joking right? Take a look at most of the 'patch notes' for apps. 'Many bugs squished' 'Many improvements in several areas' etc.

I swear if it wasnt for the ease of console gaming and the fact that I dont want spend a grand for a gaming PC, I would get NBA2k on the PC right now.

Nothing better than having 100% accurate arenas and player likenesses. I used to come home from work and the first place I would go is NLSC to see if there were any new mods available.

I pimped all my stadiums out with the logos, sponsers, used player headscans and the like. Brought a more immersive experience. Now console users have all the tools. Its a beautiful thing. I'm with you, I still want a gaming PC but consoles have caught up a bit. The separation between PC and console was large up until the latest consoles.

Alright back to post patch gameplay (side note I'm probably alot older than most on this site much older) .....Any way I really like the flow of the gameplay post patch?.

CPU are driving to the basket more, passing is better, movement is about the same which wasn't a problem for me with the right sliders....

Not sure about the Bigs not getting back fast enough I will keep an eye on that one ad transitional help defense to me is better...

But the game seemed extremely unfinished from the first view.
Even now after patch 1.04 we are talking about version 1.05 which is already in process.

Do you really think that this is normal and we should be glad with that?

I DO think this is normal for a sports game in 2016. Madden has been out 3 weeks longer than NBA and already has 3 patches out, and I assume they're already working on a 4th. MLB The Show released it's 1.08 version (8th patch) in September.

Expecting a nearly perfect sports game out of the box nowadays is a pipe dream. Especially with a sports title with so many little moving parts that was made in basically 9 months. Other games don't have to hit a release date every 9-12 months like sports titles are required to do. You can't push back a sports title 3 months to fix things. There is going to be things the testers miss and issues that have to get pushed back to get fixed because they're not vital to how the game plays.

People can complain about being a "beta tester" for a month, but they also don't have to buy the game for a month if they think it's not going to be finished. Which is the same complaint people have every single year with NBA 2k so it's really nothing new at this point.

They don't release patch notes because they are in the information gathering process so they can strike off what didn't work. Wait about 4 hours let all of us chime in with complaints strike off the supposed fixed off the fix list. No complaints because hey we didn't address that in this patch.

Only things I've noticed so far is that MyCareer Connections seem to be working again. When you accept invitations they actually show on the calendar.. even if that timeslot is already booked. You'll just have to choose which event you want to go to and which to skip.

The "New Message" notification disappeared finally since I don't actually have any new messages.

For gameplay, the only thing i've really noticed is the shot grading seems to be more lenient now. A stepback shot for my sharpshooter SF pre-patch would have been a B- to B+ depending on distance from the defender, now it's graded an A+ if there's any space at all between myself and a defender.

Greens feel about the same to me. But I also don't play online.

Ok, I got one observation.

Someone failed to get off an offball screen (which has been a probably this whole cycle) but immediately afterwards help comes barreling towards the shooter, who was looking to nail a three. His look is gone so he passes the ball. Dont remember seeing this before this patch.

When will 2K stop favoring PlayStation ? Pretty ridiculous to me. And they try to blame it on Microsoft. Any other game patches come out the same day. Well at least Playstation can see what they broke first while we are still in the past.
