    Hard Foul

so.... everyone on the spurs has a 99 hard foul tendency.

    like please..someone explain to me.

hard foul is one of the biggest causes of the game triggering horrible animations where it turns into WWE at the rim..

    Re: Hard Foul

Honestly, I'll bet the reason for this is the same reason for the dissonance in Anthony Davis's badges and tendencies; tendencies simply haven't been paid nearly enough attention in the official rosters. Looks like a lot of them got overlooked.

it's because they all play really good defense.

you know what coach triple H teaches them and focuses on.

        Re: Hard Foul

I've been saying it for the longest, this game has too many damn tendencies and too many damn attributes that lead to too many damn gameplay conflicts. Seriously, 2k should cut these things in half or combine them or something.

I have to admit - I do like seeing some flagrant fouls, though.

the best part is what they call flagrant is just a random normal hard foul but then the suplexes and what not are shooting fouls

Haha, yeah I have seen a few thinking it'd be a flagrant for sure.

I just edited the raptors and Rockets so that all players have hard foul on 0. I think I am seeing a lot less WWE stuff in the post, which is good. Still a few decent tough fouls. I am also seeing a lot less fouls though, almost like the defense doesn't engage. It's like they are programmed to decapitate or not engage at all. More blocking fouls too, since it seems if they block, they do that really silly suction 2 hand animation where you are sucked into the defender like a black hole and he checks you with his forearms.

Maybe it's partially the patch also. I know the patch isn't really supposed to change gameplay, but if I'm honest, I really don't believe too much of what I am told by 2K at this point.

There are a lot of questionable ratings and tendencies.

Gordon Hayward, a 6'8" 230 pound forward, has 42 strength. We are talking about this guy:

He's one of the strongest wing players in the league right now, and they gave him one of the lowest strength ratings in the game. They also snubbed his defensive ratings big time. He's Utah's best defender on the wing, and he's a key part as to why Utah is so good defensively.

Rodney Hood has like a 37 strength rating or something. Yes, he's a long, lanky guard, but he bullies smaller guards and gets into the paint to rise up overtop and shoot close-mid range Js.

The roster ratings are just puzzling at times.

Yes, I have. Unfortunately I have to look at his noodle arms every time I want to play as my favorite team. Same goes with Exum and Gobert.

This might seem excessive, but I think they need at least 15+ people working on rosters. Everybody would get assigned 2 teams to watch throughout the year. There's no way one person can realistically look over all these things on his/her own.

                          Re: Hard Foul

                          15 people???!?!?!?

                          1 person is PLENTY

if 1 person cant fully and i mean FULLY accurately do the rosters with every player that has a guaranteed contract between the end of the post-season and the release date they should be fired.

it takes about 10 minutes to do a player. so give or take 500 players youre talking 83 hours.

considering this is a full time job we are speaking of, that's 3 weeks of 7 hour days mon-fri. it's 100% unacceptable for rosters to continually be this bad for the past 5+ years.

if i can do a roster by myself, in my free time, in 3 weeks with my horrible computer and insane lack of technology compared to what a massive company like 2k has.. what's their excuse?

theres not even common sense applied to the roster... 99 hard foul for an entire team, noodle armed jazz players with no strength despite "bullying" their position, guys who dunk who have 0 dunk tendencies, guys who havent ever dunked who have high dunk tendencies, centers that play like allen iversion... ok rant over
