Couldn't agree more, used to be able to shoot hook shots at about a 70 percent clip, and that's not possible anymore.

I keep forgetting that a lot of these posts are from people on xb1. If you guys play offline, you're going to be pleasantly surprised with how the game feels.

haha I used to get in shoot hook shots at about 90-100% of the time. That alone completely turned me off of the game knowing I can exploit/cheat this at will. But now I am getting 40-50% of hook shots going in which is a big difference.

I just played a game on all-star with adjusted sliders (lowered,) and my 76ers still shot over 50%. The defense is still stupid, contested shots still drop at a high rate, transition defense has it's own level of stupidity, and Russell Westbrook walked out of bounds three times during the game (with the ball, in key situations.... because, you know, that's just what he does.)

76ers are a 43% team in the actual NBA, and I was getting those numbers before Beluba re-tuned the tuning.

It's just one game, but the offline version of this game is going to need it's own 7gb patch.

I had high shooting % pre-patch as well playing on All-Star so I switched up to Superstar without alterations on the sliders. It's a big difference in difficulty IMO.

Thank you, finally someone on here that is not blind, anyone with common sense know that 2k never list everything in patch notes, the CPU defense has improved, a lot better awareness, shooting percentage is down. ANY One who expected this patch to fix everything is stupid, we all know the big patch wont be released until mid November.

lmao i know its funny reading people who havent even downloaded the patch yet talk about what it did for the game etc

I have a question for some of you who are complaining about every patch that comes out because it doesn't fix exactly what you want:

Would you rather wait 2 months for the first patch and have everything fixed at once?

Or

Get a few patches here and there for 2 months, gradually fixing as much as possible each time?


I'd much prefer the second option and it isn't even a tough decision.

In case you were wondering, no there isn't an option for "fix everything before the game releases" because that isn't realistic.

This is what it is. Just waiting for patch 1.05 at this point...

Defense. Highlight of all this was seeing Mikes post that the other side of the ball is being addressed.

I guess I'll wait and hope the defense finally gets a ton of attention for patch 1.05. Otherwise I'm done with 2k17. Too much attention has gone towards the offense the past couple years, I'm frankly getting tired of the defense side of things being neglected and not having more balance.

Also noticing that once you get your big going, the opposing CPU defenders consistently double down which I am absolutely loving since it gives you the user another challenge to overcome.

Just seems to me that the CPU defense is smarter overall after the patch, also more physicality down-low & FG % is tuned to reflect the real-life NBA statistics. Offline gamers will greatly appreciate the gameplay difference now.

BTW playing on Superstar default sliders with default Rosters.

I thought I was seeing things with the score changing before the basket animation had done anything. Glad they fixed that

They have changed body types before, they will probably fix Durant and Curry

I doubt they'd fix body types. I'd be happy if they did but I really believe it won't be until next year.

Maybe they did. People complained a lot more before the game came out and nothing has been changed. Will something be changed about body types? It's possible, but I doubt it.

I believe they'll improve body types for 2K18 as a whole. If they do fix them this year even better.
