    They're having a rough year. One post release patch creates the shot meter glitch. The patch to fix that makes it so that tuning updates will delete MyCareer saves. All this coming out of a short dev cycle that produced a predictably uneven game.

      Yes, I'm breaking my arm patting myself on the back, but I feel really good about my believe that the game wasn't really going to be in a solid playable state until sometime after the opening week of the NBA season, i.e., early/mid November.

            Repeat after me. 1 month in is the worst time for unwarranted negativity on this forum. The game is very, very good.

              I'm still slashing. Relentless finisher sucks, But tear dropper, and utilizing the moving shots+difficult shots is helping. Granted I was bricking a ton last night, but still managed about 15 pts a game.

              I forget floaters exist. That's holding me back and I have to start making it a priority to diversify.

                I still manage to score well and win games, but in a "unfunny" way.

                  Can't use slashers.

                  Can't get connections.

                  (the mess that is the CPU off-line that requires simworld to be playable)

                  I'm going with broken. Just because it is great, and playable, doesn't mean it's not broken.

                    I'm going with broken. Just because it is great, and playable, doesn't mean it's not broken.
                    What do you mean pro-am isnt playable?

                    It's harder for slashers. There are plenty of archetypes that work fine.

                    Im playing offline with no simworld; it's great.

                    The game is not broken.

                      It's not playable... when go into the game it kicks you. This is the case for a sizable percentage of the community still.

                      It's not "harder" for the slasher, they took their badge and broke it. THE BADGE WORKS AGAINST YOU lmao. you cannot hit layups, with the layup archetype. That's broken.

                      there's numerous reports that the offline community needs a complete overhaul to make the out of the box tendencies and gameplay even remotely resemble actual basketball.

                        If you do get in, don't shoot free throws, because you won't be able to see your player because of griefers abusing a camera glitch.

                        Not to mention if you all disconnected prior to this last patch, you escaped losses in their "competitive esport"

                            that would fall under the open/contested distinction. which would be openly discussed (according to his rules)

Actually would love some feedback if any of you offline guys want to try the custom sliders now and let me know what you think. I'll post them in this thread tomorrow.

                                - the relentless finisher badge will be fixed and illegal screens should be called properly when the update hits as well.
