Re: Fixes Coming For NBA 2K17 Shot Timing, Pass Speeds, Moving Screens, Defense and M

If the devs ever read this, can they PLEASE have a look at the net/rim sounds among other sound effects. Even on 100 sound effect settings, my net/rim sounds are faint. This ruins the match experience imo. I know its not the number one priority, but I really hope its fixed come the next patch/update. Ruins the immersion. I wanna nail a three and hear that net rip, or when I dunk etc. Current sounds are completely screwed

Hoping they take their time to be honest. These things cant be fixed in 1-2 days. Id rather have Beluba and his team take 2-4 weeks with this one. Defence, shooting, animations, speed, net/rim sounds, among other issues, all need looked at, and realistically, will take time to fix. My guess is that we will see patch 1.05 around early/mid November

At this point with our edits I would only like defensive AI, slight pass speeds & no other gameplay tweaked.

Come on guys, I'm excited to see that crazy shooting, moving screens, and other things get removed as much as anyone.

I'm not gonna tell someone to put down the game because they're not as skilled or experienced as I am and resolve to cheap tactics to try to bridge the skill gap.

That's why I love this community, probably the most diverse gaming community on the planet.

When did we become such elitists on OS?

They fixed the relentless finisher badge in a day last time it broke through a tuner update. So they can fix it in a day. All I'm asking is for them to fix it again. I'm not going to wait a month before my layups work again. This is literally a game breaking issue for me.

This is why I say test on CPU vs CPU... if you can get the CPU to do this to the CPU...

What are the chances we get a decent Live game . I mean, i am not a "2k boy" or "live boy", dunno how anyone can classify himself as a fan of one company, in my opinion everybody should aim to play the best game available. If we could get a live 17 that would be decent with signs of something bigger, i would love that even though i haven't touched live since live 08 when i was playing it on pc.

You guys are arguing about sim but most of the changes they are talking about making are to the park. Which is the most NON-SIM part of this game. It is also meant to be that way. One day you want better shooting the next day you want them to tone it down. How about they fix things that are broken like the relentless finisher badge or things of that nature not the things that we as users need to do better at. There are minor adjustments to defense they have to make like us getting pulled into screens from 5 ft away. But as far as people complaining that they can't stop someone blowing by them or they make too many shots regardless of their archetype that's just ridiculous. This game was made and advertised as "if you're good you will excel" don't make it so some bum that picks up the game tomorrow can win like patch 6 2k16. Just cause you suck at the game don't punish the good players cause you whine about how you suck and you need 2k to handicap the players that are good, Again fix the things that need to be fixed and let us learn how to play, ignore the cry babies that can't admit they're not good at this game and need 2k to give them a crutch.

We need louder buzzer sounds as well.

Since 2k15 I think 2k has the ability to adjust certain game variables via "tuner" updates. Think of it as internal sliders which the game pulls from their servers when you start the game. This way they dont have to provide this kind of stuff via patches which would have to undergo M$'s certification process. Patches are needed when hardcoded stuff needs to be fixed, bugs etc. that require your local copy of the game to be updated.

Can they not fix the crowd sounds in a patch. That would be awesome!

so to clarify these adjustments are being made due to human vs cpu or due to human vs human online play?

Just played in the staples; mozgov had a crazy putback dunk and the crowd went absolutely silent.

                            FYI.
You won't always be the best shooter. You won't always be the best rebounder, or defender, either. What you can always do the best though, is play hard. Once you do that, Everything else will take care of itself.

I hope they make pass ratings matter. Bronze dimer is more powerful than a 99 pass accuracy...
