The AI on USER teams is utterly stupid. I am not enjoying NBA 2K17 as much as NBA 2K16 despite all the good things it has.
The defense, stealing freeze, useless screens, AI defensive and turnover recovery, AI transition recovery speed, defensive rotations, poor shooters making contested shots, and so on.
I love the devs but I spend more time trying to make the game work (looking up what certain sliders do, figuring out how defensive settings should be set, and trying to determine what the in-game adjustments settings mean (e.g. "Junk")) than actually playing it.
For me, it feels like NBA 2K17 has become the settings / slider simulator with a basketball mini-game.
