Managed to draw 2 charges
from Affalo against the kings just now. Might be random but I drew just after he got a pass on a fast break at half court

Does anyone have this problem as well? I am chasing my last bronze performance badge...Charge Card. Now the only problem is that I don't remember drawing a charge in 2k for as long as I remember. Literally 2k11 through 2k17. What am I missing?

I've watched YouTube videos that show I have to set up in front of the opposing PG when he's sprinting. He never sprints. I set up, he either walks around me, does a simple dribble move around me, or slightly glances off me. Do I have to repeatedly tap "O" to flop? This shouldn't be this hard? Is it easiest to draw charges on Rookie? Pro? Allstar?

If it matters, my player is a 7'3 GC Center, 290 lbs. Is it hard to draw charges if your strength is high? Or if you're a bigman? Help please

Just like every year since NBA2k11, charges are broken in this game. Once in a while I will see a charge whether it be me being called for it, or drawing it, but its rare.
I thought when the game 1st came out, charges while not enough were being called, you would see a few, but since the 1st update it seems for whatever reason charges have become almost nonexistent.

1 thing I have always found, is if you lower ballhandling slider some, you do tend to see more charges. Also lowering offensive awareness seems to help some too, but then you can cause other issues with lowering that, so thats not something I want to have to do because it will make the offensive play worse.

Hopefully the next patch addresses this issue with lack of charges, but I wouldnt hold my breath, since the last time you could actually draw a realistic amount of charges was in NBA2k10. But it could also be exploited in NBA2k10, and obviously your online cheaters abused it, and then onliners whined about it, and they basically broke it the other way from NBA2k11 til now. NBA2k is overall a great game, but the lack of charges is one of the few things thats wrong, and has been wrong fro years now.

Tell me about it, I have times where I can draw them, then times where they just animation slide right past me

I got tireless scorer on my fifth shot of the second game of season 2...I now have every badge except some of the mental ones, im done with my career! Thanks for the help people!

It's hard to get the charge card badge for my rim protecting center. Each time I try the foul is called on me lol

I want to smack the guy who gave charge card badge for a rim protector. Out of all the useful badges that's available the rim protector gets the **** tier badge.

Lol damn. I'm at that same point with badges EXCEPT CHARGE CARD in the 2nd round of playoffs in the 1st season. Charges are still impossible for me

The only situation I can think it is useful for a C is switching in PnR. Would work once in a while with CPU but not sure with human. Still grinding for it.

And yeah, I feel sometimes it was scripted that my player would try to lean forward and got a blocking foul even though I didn't use L or R stick and held O at least 1 sec before CPU made contact with me.

Draw Foul on my 7'3 Glass Cleaner is 94 right now, I think. Still literally impossible for me to get a charge. I'm working on a Paint Protector now so we'll see if I can draw any charges with him

I got charge card in about 3 games with my Glass Cleaner, I waited until the guard got to half court then tried to get him after he crossed half court. I also got a couple off of screens that the cpu set, I would anticipate the direction he would go and it worked out. It is not that hard.


So you got the corner specialist badge finally? what was the trick...I am over 300 corner 3s now and 42 badges and still not that one.

what difficulty? so far for my current player (pg), my ratio is 1 charge per 25 games. awesome

I can understand why rim protectors are trying to get it, but if you're struggling to get charges naturally, then why even bother with the bronze version of the badge?

Seems like madness to me.

Felt the same way 'til I went up against a Rim Protector in Pro-Am who kept getting me with off ball charges running down the court. Had 4 fouls at the half. I'm assuming that card helped.
