I just flat out packed my PS4 and put it in the closet until patch. Game is useless to me since I only play My Park with a slasher. Hope more people are doing the same or turning to other games this is just not acceptable.

You're by yourself on that idea, lol. I still use my console for other things.

Just read on on the nba2k reddit that Ronnie said on twitter that patch 5 is "imminent" and it was sent to Microsoft and Sony already

For the love of all that is good, nerf the dang no-skill sharshooters pulling up from anywhere and draining hand in face shots. It's a GAME KILLER. Turns it into NBA Jam. Should be easy, just a slider adjustment for the archetypes? If you want $250k tourny to actually be won by SKILL, nerf the sharpshooters and stretch bigs.

3 point shooting MUST be addressed

Going 10 for 40 on default All star sliders is just not acceptable while the CPU averages at least 40% on 3's

I dont use the shot stick i use the button as its easier but I should not be punished for using the button instead of the stick

3 Point shooting is a joke even wide open shots with guys who have a rating above 75 should be making at least 4/10

Are you kidding? Lower the difficulty or take better shots. Please play pro am or mypark for 2min and you'll see 3 pt shooting is ridiculously OP.

I'm convinced this is the intended battle they want to showcase for the tourney: a curry bombs shootout.

Left to right, Right to left, hide behind screen: fire away.

It's hard to justify real FG% as the simulation goal for this tournament. It's a conflict of interest to introduce HOF badges + Grand badges and play out the game on an easy shooting difficulty. It's a conflict because this environment can in no way encourage realistic shooting percentages.

I'm content with accepting this reality as long as they don't try and advertise it otherwise falsely...

Here are some things Im seeing.

The CPU always varying its pick and roll coverage based on who theyare playing and who is hot/cold. Sometimes they go over, under, switch, hedge, stay attached.

They cross match bigs a lot. Often the CPU will put their 5 on my Blake Griffin if theyy have a small 4.

They switch on late game defensive possessions.

They double off your poorest shooter.

They double at good times (although yeah its over done).

They put their best defenders on your best scorers regardless of position.

Are you being sarcastic?

Literally everything you just listed is the exact opposite of how it happens for me and many other players speaking about this in various threads.

Literally everything you just listed is the exact opposite of how it happens for me and many other players speaking about this in various threads.

Dirk seems to have a much better copy than the rest of us - he's made that perfectly clear from day one. His copy didn't come with the ball handlers randomly walking out of bounds glitch, either.

All sarcasm aside, most of us aren't here trolling 2k - unlike Dirk's version of the game, a lot of us are having serious issues.

I'm happy for Dirk - he doesn't have to witness the worst transition defense in the history of basketball games, nor does he have to witness Russell Westbrook going 1v1 against an invisible wall, where he finally claims victory, as he walks out of bounds with no one even near him. I also envy those of you who don't have to witness every center in the game finding his way under the basket, where the nearest defender is deciding whether or not to bother defending it (They always choose not to.)

I won't even mention how my copy came without editable POEs (without having to enter the game,) and every team racing down the court jacking up 3s, like they're the Golden State Warriors. Nah, I won't mention that.

I'm only speaking for my experience, which has been a very positive one. Many other posters have reported a great experience of sim basketball, but often we are busy playing the game and not posting on OS a lot.

Just beat the cpu (horrible game) because they ran out of bounds 2 of their last 3 possessions. I see this running out of bounds at least 2 or 3 times a game. Getting forced out, or crappy crowded situations, I really don't mind and in fact I like it as it adds to realism, but when the cpu just runs out for no reason, I find it a bit hard to take. Especially by the 3rd time, or when the game is on the line.

I can't decide what I want more - that patch to drop right meow or the Cubs to win this game.
