I had to band aid this issue by adjusting the pass accuracy slider so whenever I pass out of a double team, I won't always hit the wide open man, resulting in more turnovers.

I realy dislike this kind of house rules. It feels like you playing with yourself, I'm playing Myleague most of a time and controling all teams in a most important cases, so I can't have anymore house rules.

Has the new patch fixed double teams for offline players where it leaves players free all over the floor?

The patch has not changed a thing. Once you get a lead over the CPU any player you control (and it seems only the player you control) is double teamed. Forget it if you have a post scorer. If you touch the ball, the double teams are coming in regardless of the game situation. Scott OG stated his defense is to take the ball out of my hands. Well it worked, the ball is out of my hands and the game is turned off. Unless 2K removes the rediculous CPU DP logic, I give up on playing this game offline.

They need to fix this...as a point guard I can stand well behind the 3 point line and after about 7 or 8 seconds the double teams comes. Then my team gets a wide open 3 or an easy lay-up/dunk.

Mike- If you guys fix one more thing this year, please make this the fix. It's really hurting the offline experience.

I gave up playing offline. Double teaming is hilarious. I have to ignore the person the AI leaves open to keep the game competitive. I had one game a 36 year old Kyle Korver had 58 points cause the AI doubled me all game and left him open all game.

Don't get your hopes up for a fix. A few 2ks back there were no double teams at all and it never got patched.

I'll stop playing as well until they fixed this and lowered the constant fouling in the paint.

I wonder if this has something to do with difficulty because I play on Pro and All Star and have never seen double teaming all game long. I've seen it in spurts, but more than a few possessions at a time and certainly never all game long as soon as I get a lead.

I think he's talking about MyCareer. Where 2k has seemingly gone out of their way to make sure you don't have fun this year.

I am honestly starting to think that is the case. My PG gets doubled around 7 points or so. They might stop after I get subbed out, but they start up again as soon as I score my next bucket.

My Post Scorer gets doubled from the jump ball. Even if I am at the 3pt line, if I hold the LT to post, I get instantly doubled. ALL. GAME. LONG. The only way I can get points is to get O-boards and put-backs.

can someone please advise from previous nba 2k experience if this will likely be fixed? I literally cannot play the game with this in it and havnt played for about 3 weeks now.

How can you play a myleague or mygm if you know that if you just call a simple screen you have players free all over the floor.

its like each possession its ...... call screen, play in big for easy dunk/layup or play in spare player to sink uncontested 3. This is all because of double teams going to the man on the ball.

Seriously it needs sorting, surely noone else can play a game properly while this is in the game.

No it wont get fixed. The focus for hotfixes and patches will move on to the online play side of things (shot%, cheese moves, pro-am etc) because of the All-Star Tournament. I doubt we will get another patch for single player game-play in 2k17. what I'm trying to say is If it was going to get fixed it would have already been done.

So do you think they dont recognise this problem? i mean the game is pointless for me now. its the only mode i play and its broken. Surely if they play the game offline they can see how broken it is.

Anyone else still playing myleague/season/mygm offline found a fix for this yet?? Just had cpu spurs doubling Harden all game after the 1st quarter once he scored 12 points or so...It reduces the game to just passing out of a double team every possesion.. I swear this wasn't happening to me a month or so ago. They used to stop the double after a while but this time they didnt.. Any ideas??
