New Website for Testing Badges - NBA2kLab.com

We have created a new site for testing badges and other stats since 2k won't release this information. So far we have tests on jumpers, dimer, hot and cold zones, posterizer, defensive stopper and rebounding spray charts. We plan on adding more content every week. Give it a look.

I never comment, but I had just had to say this is really cool. Thanks for doing this guy's. Is there any way you could test the ankle breaker badge?

That's a really cool idea. Nicely executed too.

Really great work, I just wish this didn't even have to exist in the first place.

Has 2k ever answered why they leave everything unknown?

I guess if I have wondered one thing, it is how differently rebounding attribute works. That seems like it would be difficult to pull off though? For example, if my player has a rebound rating of 73 and my matchup has 76, what happens when a ball goes in the air near us both? Scenarios like that.

We haven't heard an explanation of why they keep it a secret.

Rebounding is definitely something that we are trying to come up with a way to test. It has been difficult to come up with a reliable way to collect this data so far but we will figure something out for a future update.

Cool thanks. This is why I make every one on my pro am teams have defensive stopper.

But I got to ask. That badge doesn't do anything for shot contest right ? That's just the rating (shot contest) I thought? I thought defensive stopper only worked to negate badges.

This is what we had always heard but not what we experienced during our testing.

Would love to find out what constitutes a shot off the dribble and how that effects the effectiveness of the shot?

Like iif you tap square left and he steps left, then shoots, is that off the dribble? If you double tap square when driving to the basket and your player spins and stops to shoot, is that off the dribble?

or is it only when you do that fadeaway jumper animation?

Is there a difference between shooting while holding R2 or not? etc.
