The Corner 3 might need a strong tuning....

either this year or by next 2k but the corner 3 needs to be looked at. i get that its the easiest shot in the NBA /BBALL but this is getting pretty alarming now.

All people do now is run a break , head straight to a corner and shoot from there and 4/5 times gets a 3 pointer. its like the wing 3 or the middle 3 arent even looked at anymore unless its a spot up shooter that WIDE OPEN. and even then they prob will pass the ball to the dude on the corner for the shot.

the other problem is the added boost from badges, Dimer + Catch and Shoot + Corner Specialist = BANGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!

CENTERS AND OTHER PEOPLE WHO WOULD BE BENCHED IF THEY SHOT THIS IN REAL LIFE ARE MAKING THESE SHOTS , there no reason why a guy with a 35 rated 3 can shoot and make this shot....

Nylon Calculus: Advanced NBA analytics, statistics, and insights. Understand the game on a deeper level.

The thing is all that talk about it being the 'shorter distance' has very little to do with the sucess rate IRL. It's mainly because corner 3's are wide open much more often, on that basis i don't see why their should be a corner specialist badge or a boost when shooting from the corners when the Open 3 point rating would already cover it.

Because some players that can't shoot for crap anywhere else behind the arc specialize in the corner three.
