It's actually discussed in many areas... it's just described as cheese or complained about. I'm not certain, but it sounds like the originator of this thread doesn't have a problem versus the double team. I actually like when people try it cuz 2k rewards making the good play versus a bad one.

For those of us that play offline it makes the game way too easy to manipulate the cpu. They have to fix this constant double teaming.

I haven't seen this yet but my guess is that it is tied into ACE/difficulty level. From what I know (got the game on Christmas Day), the difficulty this year is based on computer coaching adjustment more than computer cheese. Perhaps on the lower levels, this is the computers response to a scoring threat whereas the higher levels use defensive adjustments in response.

Just my two cents, and again, just my guess.

I only play offline modes. Will this game permantly be like this??

If you play offline you will get 30+ points and 20+ assists a game which it seems you can do at any position. It's hard to loose an offline game with the CPU double teams and other defensive problems. Just check out Chris Smooth's videos. To me the game is designed and tuned to drive you to play on line knowing you will spend more on VC to compete. These game designers are very smart.

They double on any diffuculty. I wish this was fixed. Like did they even test this damnn game

Offline is 100% broken because of this and like someone said previously It could be something that has been done on purpose to encourage people to play online modes which will gain them more money. If that is the case then that is a really poor choice from the devs.
I'm not even a basketball fan but I actually became a fan a couple of nba 2ks ago because of mygm. I only bought this game because of mygm. I know the devs are aware that offline is broken but why would they care to fix it? The online mode makes money so why would they care about offline?

We just have to put up with putting the game back in its case and hoping it's fixed next year. And in the meantime play something else. I certainly won't be buying it next year if it isn't fixed though.

They've said they fixed it three different times and it's been the same the whole time. They need to take it out all together if they can't do it right.

I do and I get 15+ assist a game on HOF cause they double and leave their man WIDE OPEN thats STUPID AS HELL and not fun
