Re: Animation/badge transfer glitch must be fixed before the Pro Am All-Star Tourname
Honestly, to try to curb the constant cheating that's been going on for the past few years, 2k needs to just start handing out hard bans, period. If you don't come down hard, people simply don't learn, and have no fear of the weak 'consequences' that 2k usually gives out.Comment

This would have been understandable had they banned 98 overall players but what does it matter now. The integrity has already been compromised

You might be late to the party but every 2k gamer knows honsyy does fake glitches all the time. Just type in his name during a youtube search and this should pop up.

I have my prelude player. I have elite dribble moves because of that, I really hope they don't go server side and ban everyone who has dribble moves outside of their set because I didn't do anything wrong, I spent some VC during the Prelude waiting for the games release. Hopefully they can differentiate between the two and ban the glitches because it sucks to see the game in this state.

Ban all the people that use these glitches/exploits. Nows the time, especially with such a big esports event coming up. They wanna complain and cry send them copies of the EULA and call it a day.Say "No" to railroaded MC modes.Comment

I say ban them. Tired of all these glitches and exploits. I don't care if some of y'all feel it doesn't do much. If it doesn't do much, why do it in the first place and risk any type of consequence? At the very least just delete the characters. But if I was 2K and had to waste time on cheaters, I would rather suspend or ban them.
Funny most of the people I see defending this is known cheaters/exploiters for 2K going back to 2K10 lol.

There is no way in hell 2k will do the right thing and ban them. Too much VC revenue at stake. I hate getting on 2k's back about that, because I don't mind purchasing the VC myself to save time and because i can afford it, so I accept I'm part of the problem too, but 2k will be watching the VC roll in on the back of users creating new players to take advantage of this.Comment

I think a lot of people know this ain't serious.
My 6'5 SG Shot Creator has a 75 rated contact dunk and you think I'm not going to do this glitch?
81 driving dunk and you think I don't want them park alley oop dunk packages? You trippin
I'm taking advantage of it, might make the game more funComment

Re: Animation/badge transfer glitch must be fixed before the Pro Am All-Star Tourname
Listen, here's the bitter truth. 2k17 is garbage. Yall lucky people are still playing this game.
If you go and search any major 2k youtuber, everyone KNOWS 2k17 is dead. The park is repetitive, the pro am is just now stabilizing their servers in December, VC is way more expensive and does less for your your my player this year than ever before. The fact that these archetypes are super restricted shows that 2k18 needs more work in this area.
This game wasn't fun for along time. The grind to get your my player to max out is just boring as hell. Practice after practice after practice through monotonous drills will kill any fun factor involved with my career.
Facts: you cannot transfer badges using this trick.
You cannot transfer attributes using this trick.
You only can add animations such as crossovers and dunks to players.
So let's say you have a center with a 29 speed and 30 ball control there's no way that adding a crossover to your arsenal would make him a threat to you. The moves don't even come out like they do for a guard. They are slow as hell.
Even the dunks on a sharpshooter or point forward don't activate the same way as a slasher or athletic big. They don't have the gold or hall of fame badges that make them over powered.
They also don't have the attributes to make great finishers. So complaining about a point forward who has dunk packages that can't finish like a slasher on a consistent basis is kind of petty. I don't think banning is the answer and to be honest, this kind of gave 2k17 a second life.Comment

Re: Animation/badge transfer glitch must be fixed before the Pro Am All-Star Tourname
This post was in response to the op and anyone else who actually thought that this thing needs to be patched. His information on what was actually being glitched was incorrect, so I informed him and anyone else who agrees with his idea that the video example that he showed was from a source that isn't credible on YouTube. The Ya'll I speak of is the 2k community that still continues to play online even though this game clearly has run its course due to a poorly thought out grind in my career badges and the severely limited archetype system for your my players. The park system is the EXACT SAME one as 2k16. We have another 8 months of this to go, you think people are gonna stay playing this with no means to earn VC? Good luck bro.Comment

For me, I don't care if people believe it's serious or not. If you're getting animations you aren't supposed to be getting because you don't meet the requirements or etc by doing some glitch you should be punished in someway for it.
It might not be that serious. But I think 2K needs to start making a statement on people using any glitches especially affecting online gameplay.
