NBA 2K17 unleashed a different dynamic in the MyLeague section with the ability to start in offseason. I've been clamoring for this idea for years and 2K did a fantastic job delivering this year. I've had a lot of fun with this since I got the game, doing what if scenarios from the 2016 offseason. The mode wouldn't run as smooth if the CBA rules weren't being implemented correctly so I applaud them for that and can only hope that they can continue to add things like deeper draft pick protection, sign-and-trades, TPEs, unguaranteed contracts, etc. The small details about this is what sticks out to me the most.

I wish you could start in different parts of the offseason. They should also add the ability to trade away a draft picks rights and have foreign players not enter the NBA right away when drafted. I'd also like to see them add the D-League back to stash some of our high potential low OVR draft picks.Say "No" to railroaded MC modes. -

I have used the starting in offseason loads of times, mainly to see how i can use the trade and FA 'logic' to build a superteam.
