No disrespect to Ronnie and Chris - they do what they are hired to do and in the way they are asked to do it. But the person needed for this needs to have a deeper understanding of x's and o's basketball to do what people here are asking for. Ronnie and Chris, respectfully, don't have that.

Re: I'd like to see better Communication and Transparency from 2K in 2K18

I remember when Ronnie2k used to be Ronnie James dio on OS. That was before 2K went all Hollywood on us. I'm not calling him out. I just remember when that guy would be on the forums responding to us because he was the community manager at the time and that meant being amongst the people and getting and giving feedback whenever there topics that we needed to be addressed. I understand the landscape of social media has changed over the years and twitter and Facebook and Instagram are where people get noticed more at, but it's almost as if they don't reply as fast and even if they do, they're not gonna give you a straight answer or be as helpful as they would be as compared to when they were here exclusively on OS.

I guess the whole point I'm trying to make is that Ld2k and Ronnie are out here promoting 2k as a brand, which is cool and And all, but maybe 2k should hire someone who can be more direct with the people and can actually be reached for more answers and for transparency when it comes to the actual game of 2k. There's nothing worse than an unsatisfied customer base with little communication from said company. OS has a vast selection of 2K veterans who do nothing but give as much help as possible to other veterans and new guys who come on here looking for help in playing NBA 2K every year. How about hiring one or two guys from here who would be dedicated to that purpose only and then I wouldn't mind allocating 50K for that.

I'm not trying to doxx anyone here, but given that I run social media and marketing for an entity that you've heard of, I was curious what Ronnie's educational background is and what mutual acquaintances we might have. So I looked him up on LinkedIn. He played basketball in college, and got a degree in Management from a very reputable school. So you would expect that he would have the experience necessary to fill his position.

I don't think the problem is a lack of understanding of x's and o's of basketball. I think the problem is that they just don't care. I think they've decided to back away from being a sim-based game and go to an arcade-style model. So any complaints people might have from a basketball standpoint are falling on deaf ears. And they have no competition, so they can do what they want.

        For now.

I didn't know or look up his background. I just made my assessment based on his comments during his annual live game play streams at game launch playing against Chris.

Meanwhile, I made a video about this topic. The idea here is that video is something they pay more attention to than threads.

If you have twitter, please send this (if you're so inclined) to @beluba @Da_Czar @scottogallagher @nelsonblake2 @BigKev_np @UniqueMazique @SamPham20 and anyone else of influence at 2K or part of #Simnation that you can think of.

I really wish you felt motivated and 2k17 was a game worthy of making more videos. I enjoyed your Triangle video, and I watched all of your 2k16 videos too. I've been considering doing a series of lab-type videos myself.

Another example of poor communication. They say on facebook there's double rep, double rep not working for anyone, lots of tweets and no comment, announcement, acknowledgement, NOTHING from 2K or any of its so called "community reps".
